Summary: Jun had been relieved to see Pailong knocking down the wall of her cell.

I'm in here

Can't you hear my call?

Are you coming to get me now?

I've been waiting for

You to come rescue me

I'm in here-Sia

Her brother Ren and Yoh had saved her and Pailong, But Tao Jun was still sitting there, on the cold, hard floor othe cell with her dirty clothes and thinking, waiting. Thinking about how careless she had been when she'd tried to open up with her father, thinking that she didn't want to fight any more, and waiting for Pailong.

She had waited for him to rescue her, even if she didn't want to admit it or give herself that right, and now, she was waiting for him to wake up, after he'd knocking down the wall of her cell, but then to be saved from En's control by Yoh and Ren.

With his head on her lap, there was Lee Pailong, still unconscious and she stroked his dark blue hair running her fingers through the locks affectionately, watching the gray skin, his sewn limbs and she felt her heart tighten. He had forgiven her, stayed by her side even after realizing that he had been killed by the Tao family to be Jun's Kyonshi, and was kind to her, fair.

She didn't want to see him as a zombie controlled by her anymore, as she had been used to think before Yoh, she wanted more, he was her guardian, he had said it himself, wanted more, like a friend and that admission made her blush.

"Pailong... Can you hear me?" And she saw his eyes open, confused, and when he saw relief in Jun's blue eyes, he was surprised:

"Tao... Jun?" He could feel the warmth of her body in contact with his, cold, and he felt comfortable, but then sat up, holding a hand to his head, not understanding anyhting. "What happened to me?"

"You were being controlled by my father." It was horrible to admit it, and she looked away, staring at the ruined wall. She didn't want to fight or ask Pailong for it but she knew that fighting was necessary to save other people and then, she stared at his back:

"Pailong... Can you help me?"

Pailong turned to her, surprised, seeing how much she had changed and, despite the sad look, she was determined. Tao Jun had changed in a short time, she was more compassionate, but more determined as well and certain of things, and it pleased him.

"Hum... Of course I can Tao Jun." And then Pailong's serious, hard face slowly softened, and he opened a small smile that surprised her. "After all, I made that decision to be your guardian and always be by your side."

"Pailong..." She didn't expect those words, and she opened a beautiful smile, nodding, and seeing her surprise, he lifted a hand and gently touched her shoulder, stroking it and brushing away the green strand of hair that was there, noticing her hair was free.

"Did you think I would deny it?" He asked in a calm voice and she smiled, unsightly, letting the green fringe cover her face.

"There was a small part of me that yes, I'm still getting used to the changes." But then she raised her face again and admitted: "But I had hopes that you would agree, that you too would come to me here."

"Tao Jun..." The hand on her shoulder was sliding down her arm and then she placed her hand over his, holding them there, staring into Pailong's eyes, which seemed frustrated and he said:

"I'm sorry for not being able to get herr any earlier because I was being controlled... " He felt ashamed for having failed her and letting them take her and throw her there. He was a master of martial arts, and her guardian!

"It wasn't your fault..." She promised in a quiet voice, and her eyes sparkled as she smiled, stroking and squeezing his cold, calloused hand, but she liked it. "And, in a way, you came to me Pailong."

"And I don't intend to leave your side, I promise I'll protect you!"

"I know... But, would you stand by my side not only as my guardian, but..." She took a deep breath and asked: "As my friend too?"

Those words surprised him, and if it were possible, Pailong would have flushed. Jun's words made him smile, and then he took her hand, entwined it and placed it over his chest, where his heart would beat and said sincerely:

"Of course!" Jun smiled excitedly, before saying decisively:

"Then let's go." He had come to where she had been and now, they would fight together.
