It was just a regular day on Cybertron. And everyone was talking to each other in the main room of the Autobot base. But one thing was different today.

The Decepticons were there. (Well all but one.) Since the war had ended Cybertron was now in a time of peace. And the Bots and Cons were now on better terms with each other.

"OK so today is Starscream's Birthday and we're gonna give him a surprise party." Said Bumblebee. "Right now he's flying around looking for energon." "So we have time to get everything ready."

"Knock Out and Ratchet will be in charge of decorating." "While Grimlock, Windblade and Fixit will be in charge of the gifts." "Soundwave and Jazz will provide the music." "And Shockwave, Drift and Steeljaw will make the energonsweet cake." Bumblebee continued.

"Optimus and Megatron are going to make sure Starscream doesn't come back sooner then he's supposed to." "And Strongarm and Sideswipe will get Thundercracker and Sky Warp from Kaon we're going to reunite Starscream with his trine as a surprise." Bumblebee finished. Then everyone got to work.

Knock Out and Ratchet were decorating for the party when they ran out of tacs to hang streamers with. So Knock Out went to the medbay where he remembered seeing a box of them.

But when he opened the closet a razor snake jump out causing the red medic to cry out in horror as it just missed his face.

Ratchet ran in after hearing Knock Out scream and got there just in time to see the cherry colored transformer jump up on to a stool that was in the medbay while the razor snake let out a hiss before it slithered under some boxes.

"By the allspark how did a razor snake get in here?" Asked Ratchet.

"Beats me." Said Knock Out. "I'm just glad it didn't bite me those things have cyber venom and that one was three inches from my helm."

"Well we can't just leave it in the base where it could bite someone." Ratchet told him. "We need to get it out of here."

"I'm not moving those boxes." Yelped a frightened Knock Out.

"Well I'm not going near that thing." Whined Ratchet.

"But we can't let it wonder somewhere else in the base." Knock Out reasoned.

"OK so we go after it together." Suggested Ratchet. Then Knock Out grabbed his energon probe and Ratchet got his saws ready. Then they got ready to attack the razor snake from both sides. And then both mechs let out a battle cry as they moved the boxes and got ready for a fight.

But then three things happened. One the razor snake jumped at Knock Out making him dodge and causing his energon probe to slip out of his hands. Two Ratchet ending up missing and sawing the active energon probe in half. And three one part of the probe hit a socket and the other hit a lightbulb blowing the lights in the medbay.

Now the room was pitch black and Knock Out and Ratchet stood back to back then heard the razor snake hissing in a funny why.

"I don't believe it." Said Knock Out. "That razor snake sounds like it's laughing at us." "Ahh!" "It has my leg!"

"Run!" Yelled Ratchet. Then he sealed the door to the medbay.

"Why didn't you do that to began with?" Asked Knock Out.

"I just now thought of it." Explained Ratchet. "But now it can't leave the medbay so we can get a professional to deal with it after the party we'll just make sure no one goes in the medbay."

"Ratchet I think it bit me when I jumped to avoid it back there I think I felt one of it's fangs prick my servo and it feels like it's still in there." Knock Out said sounding weak, frightened and close to tears.

"Let me see it." Ratchet told him. Then Knock Out held up his servo looking away afraid to see the damage. "Don't worry it didn't bite you." Ratchet said sounding relieved.

"Then why do I feel poisoned?" Asked Knock Out.

"Not poisoned sedated." Ratchet explained. "You jabbed your servo on this." Ratchet told him holding up a syringe. "It's a sedative used to put bots into forced recharge for surgery."

"Yeah I remember I'm the one who filled it." Said Knock Out. "It's enough to put someone out for a few hours." "Oh scrap." Knock Out groaned before passing out.

"Well at least he's not poisoned and will only get a good recharge out of this." Ratchet said as he took Knock Out to his room and put him on the berth. "Only down side is I have to finish decorating for the party by myself." He added as he went back to finish getting ready for Starscream's surprise party. And as soon as Ratchet left the room he heard Knock Out start snoring.

Meanwhile Steeljaw, Shockwave and Drift were working on the cake. But they accidentally blow up the first one when Steeljaw put it to close to a heat lamp. So they had just made another one.

"Steeljaw what were you thinking?" Asked Drift.

"I didn't know there was a heat lamp there." Steeljaw defended himself.

"Energon is extremely flammable and explodes when heated." Shockwave lectured him. "Placing it near a heat lamp was illogical."

"Oh shut up." Steeljaw growled.

Just then they heard a knock at the door of the base and Drift looked through a peephole they had on the door.

"It's Starscream hide the cake." He warned Steeljaw and Shockwave in a whisper.

Then Drift brought out his minicons Slipstream and Jetstorm. "Help Steeljaw keep Starscream busy while I hide the cake and Shockwave gets rid of the evidence that we were making it." He instructed them.

"Yes master we won't let you down." Both minicons replied at once.

Then Drift ran back to the mess hall to help Shockwave hide everything. Then Steeljaw let Starscream in.

"Hi how's it going?" Steeljaw asked trying to sound normal.

"OK I just came in to refuel." Starscream told him as he started to head for the mess hall.

"Wait Starscream before you go in there we have some moves we want to demonstrate for you." Said Jetstorm.

"I'll go grab a cube of energon then watch you." Starscream told him.

"But Starscream you need to watch this right now before we show it to Drift we need to know it's good enough and as a seeker and master of the sky you must be a good acrobat and we need pointers." Slipstream pretended to beg.

"Oh well if it's that important and you need my help that badly how can I refuse?" Starscream said as a smile crossed his faceplates. "Master of the sky huh."

"That's it flattery almost always works on Starscream." Thought Steeljaw. Then Slipstream and Jetstorm showed Starscream their moves.

"I don't see why you two are so worried I think you guys did great." Starscream complemented them. And started to walk to the mess hall. But just then Megatron ran in.

"Starscream I need you now!" Megatron yelled as he grabbed the seeker by the servo and ran out the door before Starscream could even process what was going on. And as soon as they were outside Steeljaw and the two minicons sighed in relief.

Then they went to the mess hall to tell Drift and Shockwave that Starscream had left.

But unfortunately Shockwave was carrying some leftover energon from the cake and ended up spilling it on Steeljaw who yelped in surprise which also made Drift jump and he ended up throwing the cake out the window by mistake.

"Oh scrap!" They all groaned at once.

Then Bumblebee walked in covered in energonsweet cake because he was passing in front of the window when the cake was tossed out of it. Then he offered to help make another one after he tasted what was on him and said it was good.

Meanwhile Megatron had gotten Starscream away from the base. Before the seeker finally asked him what this was all about.

"Starscream I was horrible to you before, during and after the war." Megatron said to him. "I've always been a jerk to you." "Beaten you countless times, yelled at you, and put you in the medbay time after time, and used a patch on you."

"No one deserves that Starscream." Megatron continued. "I just want to say I'm so sorry!" He told Starscream now crying in to the smaller mech shoulder with his arms around him in a bear hug.

While Starscream wore a shocked look not quite sure what to make of this. "Um Megatron I think your crushing me." He told the warlord who apologized and loosened his grip. Then Starscream smiled.

"It's OK Megatron I forgive you just let it all out." Starscream said petting him on the back.

Megatron had agreed to keep Starscream busy and Optimus had told him not to harm Starscream so an apology was all he could come up with. "You owe me Prime." He thought feeling completely humiliated.

"You don't know how long I've been wanting to hear you say that you really made this birthday special." Starscream thanked him.

But then Megatron turned away for a second as a smile crossed his face.

Back at base Strongarm and Sideswipe had just brought Sky Warp and Thundercracker there and they arrived just in time to help Ratchet finish decorating. And he told them about the episode in the medbay with the razor snake.

Then Sideswipe saw Knock Out coming down the hall way.

"That's strange the sedative he stuck his servo on shouldn't have worn off yet." Ratchet explained.

"It hasn't." Said Strongarm who pointed out Knock Out's optics were closed.

"Oh scrap he's sleepwalking." Sideswipe exclaimed. "I'm gonna go wake him up."

"No it's dangerous to wake up a sleepwalker." Ratchet told Sideswipe as he stopped him." "Just fallow him and make sure he doesn't hurt himself."

So Sideswipe and Strongarm took off after Knock Out. But as they were leaving Jazz and Soundwave came in.

"Why are you two here I thought you were working on the music for the party?" Asked Ratchet.

"I kind of bumped into Soundwave while I was dancing and now he needs you to fix his voice box." Jazz explained.

"What's wrong with his voice box?" Ratchet questioned.

"You tell me." Soundwave shouted in G1 Starscream's voice. "You did this to me!" He told Jazz not sounding a bit happy.

"Wow this is a new one." Ratchet said fighting back laughter.

"Now fix me medic!" Soundwave hissed at him.

"OK I'm on it." Ratchet told him before getting to work.

Meanwhile Sideswipe and Strongarm were chasing after Knock Out who was still sleepwalking. And suddenly changed into his vehicle mode apparently dreaming he was racing. Both Strongarm and Sideswipe had to drive at top speed to keep up with him.

"I can't believe Knock Out can drive this well while he's asleep I'm awake and I almost crashed." Sideswipe groaned.

"He's violated several traffic laws in like two minutes." Strongarm complained.

"You can write him a ticket when he wakes up." Sideswipe joked.

Then Knock Out changed back to his Cybertronian mode still asleep. "No you poor thing." He said grabbing a street sign then taking out his medkit. "No one is dying on my watch." "I'll fix you just hold on."

"I think he's dreaming he's performing sugary on someone now." Strongarm told Sideswipe. Then Sideswipe walked over to where he was only to be grabbed by the arm.

"You can't just walk away from this there's a life on the line here." The still sleepwalking Knock Out told Sideswipe in a lecturing tone. "As medic's we have to do our job right lives depend on us."

And Sideswipe had to help Knock Out perform an imaginary surgery on a street sign. While Strongarm stood there laughing her head off.

"He's gonna pull through good job Doctor." Said Knock Out who tried to give Sideswipe five only to end up smacking him right in the face and knocking him on to his butt. Then transformed to his vehicle mode again and drove off.

"Come on we have to fallow him." Strongarm yelled at Sideswipe who had just pulled himself up from being knocked down. And they took off after the sleepdriving red medic.

"Oh no he just drove into a construction site." Cried Sideswipe. "Oh scrap!"

But luckily Knock Out drove through and then out of the construction site with no incident much to Sideswipe and Strongarm relief. Though they did have to deal with some angry Constructicons before continuing after Knock Out.

Then to their horror they saw Knock Out ramp off a cliff but fortunately he landed on a ledge then changed back to his Cybertronian from and laid down.

But then rolled over on to his side which scared Strongarm and Sideswipe because he was now very close to the edge in fact his arm was hanging over it and it looked like he was about to roll over again.

"No Knock Out don't roll over!" Yelled both Sideswipe and Strongarm.

Just then Knock Out opened his optics then jump back with a look of terror on his faceplates after seeing the long drop he had been close to taking and noticing he was trapped on a ledge.

"What the heck?" "What?" "How?" "Who?" "Where?" "When?" "Why?" Knock Out asked frightened and feeling completely clueless as to how he got in his predicament.

"We're going back to base to get help and we'll explain everything when your safe." Strongarm told the terrified red transformer.

"Just stay put OK." Sideswipe added.

"Where exactly would I go?" Asked Knock Out. "While other then down oh please anywhere but there." He almost sobbed.

Then Sideswipe and Strongarm wasted no time getting to the base where they found everyone else waiting.

"Hey we're waiting for Megatron and Optimus to get here with Starscream so we can yelled surprise." "Where's Knock Out the sedative should have worn off by now?" Asked Ratchet having just finished fixing Soundwave's voice back to normal and was now ready for the party.

"Oh it wore off but now he's stuck on a ledge about to fall to his doom." Sideswipe explained.

"Come on everyone we have to save Knock Out." Bumblebee told them and everyone ran out the door where they ran into Optimus then Starscream and Megatron on their way out and told them what was going on with Knock Out.

Then everyone made their way to the cliff where the trapped medic was.

"Knock Out how did you end up over there?" Asked Starscream.

"I don't even know OK." The red sports car answered.

"Don't fall over the edge OK." Shouted Ratchet.

"Oh believe me that's the last thing I wanna do." Knock Out yelled back to him. Just then they heard a crunching sound.

"Oh no this ledge is starting to crack!" Knock Out whined with coolant tears of fear in his optics. "If I don't come out of this it's been fun guys."

Just then Starscream changed into his jet mode and flew over to the ledge. "Knock Out get on top of my jet mode and hang on." Starscream told him.

"OK just don't drop me." Knock Out begged. "Are you sure your jet mode will be able to fly right with me on top of it?"

"Nope." Starscream replied a bit to cheerfully.

"What?" Knock Out almost screamed with wide optics.

"Just messing with you." Starscream told him. Then Knock Out got on his jet mode with his optics closed because he was to scared to look. Then Starscream started flying him to safety.

"Are we dead yet?" Knock Out kept asking.

"If we die I will tell you I promise." Starscream deadpanned.

Then they made it to safety and Knock Out hugged Starscream and told him thank you. Then jumped down and started kissing the ground.

"Land oh sweet mother earth." Knock Out cried happy to be alive, safe and on solid ground.

"Your gonna mess up your finish down there." Steeljaw told him. Then Knock Out jumped up and brushed himself off.

"My whole life just flashed before my optics I spend way to much time watching horror movies." Said Knock Out.

"We're just glad your safe." Bumblebee told him.

Then they went back to base. Where Starscream was the last to enter.

Then everyone jumped out and yelled. "Surprise." And Starscream was happy they'd through him a surprise party and he was glad to see Sky Warp and Thundercracker there.

Then they gave him his gifts one was a vase from Fixit that had been glued back together several times. And Windblade explained that Grimlock kept breaking it and they kept have to put it back together again.

"He got you a piece of art while several until we fixed it." Grimlock told Starscream who had to laugh.

Then he opened a gift that was a crown that he put on right away thinking it looked really good on him. Only the gift wasn't signed.

But Optimus saw Megatron smile having been the one who got him that one. But not wanting the seeker to know it.

Then Sky Warp and Thundercracker decided to give him their gift and explained they were in the area were he and Megatron were earlier and the gift was a video of Megatron apologizing to him and crying into his shoulder. Much to the warlord's horror and dismay.

Then Sky Warp went to the medbay for something and Knock Out and Ratchet rushed to warn him about the razor snake only to find him holding it and he explained it was a harmless kind and he was going to keep it as a pet.

"You can have just please keep it away from us." Knock Out told him.

Then after the party everyone went home and Starscream thanked them and said it was the best birthday he ever had.

Then Strongarm handed Knock Out a book full of tickets form when he was sleepwalking. And even he had to laugh. After they told him about the adventure he went on while he was in sleep mode. Which included driving through a construction site and doing surgery on a street sign.

It may have been Starscream's birthday but Knock Out wasn't going to forget it anytime soon.
