Lilac had already been forgiven by Jocu and even though the sisters forgave her too, she still refused to speak with them. Jocu already told them about Lilac's decision.
"Now why would she be afraid of us?" Sasha asked.
"It's because she feels terrible about what happened. But she was tricked," Jocu said gently. "I don't think she will be coming around here for a while now." That statement made them all pout.
"But we want to meet her," Whampire said, somewhat eagerly.
"Yes. We would like to clear up that misunderstanding," Rook said, now walking up to Jocu. "She does not believe we are upset does she?"
"No of course not. But she is still traumatized by that incident," Jocu said.
"We will give her a little time, but Jocu we do hope that one day and soon, we can meet her!" Rachel said, trying to be calm. She truly wanted to meet the young one too, especially hearing after she was in an orphanage!
"Do not worry. Just give it time," Jocu replied. "Now don't worry your heads about anything. I will take care of that little one."
And with a smirk, Jocu snapped his fingers and he was gone.
"I want to meet that little one." Sasha said, still pouting.
"Easy my love. I'm sure we will…at least I hope we do." Whampire said. Something about Lilac made them eager to meet her…even more eager than usual. Maybe it's because she was the first human who knew the brothers outside of their personal family!
The next day…
Lilac was just walking in from a rainy day when she saw Jocu sitting on the stairwell. Shocked, she glanced around and saw the entire orphanage was empty.
"Hey there," Jocu smiled, now sitting up.
"J-Jocu?! Someone could see you!" Lilac said.
"No. I made sure that this entire place was empty. It's just you and me for a while Lilac," he said, now standing and walking over towards her. He could tell she was still upset from the other day and making a deal with the Nitian. "Come on…you're not still upset about that problem are you?"
"Yes." Lilac said sadly.
"Oh come here Lilac…that's all over," Jocu said, now wrapping her in his arms. "Let that go."
"I-I can't! I made a terrible mistake," she said, now turning away.
"Hey…no being sad on my watch," Jocu said, now teleporting her back to his realm.
As Lilac's vision adjusted, she saw King Lauhin sitting on his bed and waiting for them.
"There you are young one." He soothed. But Lilac felt her eyes welling up with tears because she felt like she let them all down by making a deal with a Nitian.
"I-I want to go back," she said, now turning and pleading with Jocu.
"No young one. We need to talk to you. We've felt this sadness for a while now and we want to break through it," Jocu said, now gently picking her up and heading over to his father, who had his hands out.
"Let me see her," Lauhin said gently.
"NO! PLEASE NO!" Lilac panicked, now squirming as the king had her in his grasp. He then wrapped his arms around her waist to keep her from getting off his lap but she struggled with all her might.
"Young one calm down! I won't harm you!" Lauhin said, still holding her.
"L-Let me go!" she said, tears rolling down her face now as guilt began eating her.
"I can't let you go Lilac! We won't let you leave like this!" Lauhin said, now pinning her down on the bed as he and Jocu leaned over her. At that moment, Queen Bliss walked in and she too felt concerned about Lilac.
"Lauhin?" she asked in concern.
"It's worse than we thought my love. She's terrified of us or being near us after her mistake," Lauhin said, now keeping Lilac pinned down.
"P-Please! Let me go! I promise I won't come back!" Lilac pleaded, making all three of their eyes' widen considerably!
"WHAT?!" Lauhin said in horror.
"Lilac!" Queen Bliss said in terror.
"What do you mean never come back?!" Jocu thundered in agony, now looking at her in terror. But Lilac looked away and continued to panic.
"I'm sorry to do this little one, but it's for your own good," Lauhin said, now biting Lilac in her shoulder and making her squeal in pain. He released his own type of venom; paralyzing venom.
"L-Let g-g-go," Lilac pleaded, now weakly trying to crawl away but Lauhin had a firm grip and pulled her back to his chest.
"Never…you, little one, are never going to be allowed to leave and be in such pain and agony. Never," Lauhin said, now pulling her to where she was in his furry chest. Queen Bliss smiled and gently left, knowing her husband had it under control. Jocu, however, stayed and watched over his friend.
A few minutes later…
Lilac slowly opened her eyes and she giggled; she had been asleep for few moments. Something was tickling her neck and ears. As she looked around, she saw it was King Lauhin and Jocu. They both had the warmest and kindest grins.
"You're awake. Good," Lauhin grinned, now nuzzling her.
"I-I can't move," she said, now trying to get up but could not because of the venom.
"Oh no…you're not going anywhere." Lauhin said, now nuzzling into her neck. "You're spending the night with us."
"B-But…" Lilac pleaded.
"Don't try and escape…you are one of my very best friends and I mean that. And I'm not going to let you leave like this," Jocu said, now bending down and nuzzling her stomach, making her giggle.
"I-I thought you couldn't have favorites!" Lilac giggled.
"I can't. But that doesn't mean that I cannot have some people that I am closer to than others." Jocu said. "In plus, no one could take your place."
Lilac saw him lean over her where they were eye to eye. "Lilac…do you trust me?"
"Yes." She said, without a pause and confidently.
"Do you believe me when I say that no one will ever take your place?" Jocu asked, now smiling at her.
"Yes." She smiled, now giggling as Lauhin ran his hands through her hair to make her giggle.
"Then promise me that you will never feel afraid to come to me or my family when something goes wrong. We love you and nothing will ever change that," Jocu said, now leaning down and kissing her forehead. Lauhin smiled and snapped his fingers and released Lilac from his paralyzing venom.
"Now that we have had that understanding, you're going to be cheered up by all of us," Lauhin grinned. At that moment, Queen Bliss walked in and was followed by all six brothers.
"Here we come honey," Queen Bliss giggled, now pouncing and wrapping her arms around Lilac. Soon Lilac began squealing and laughing as she was at the mercy of all of the tickle monster family!
Later that night…
Lilac was looking up at the stars as she and the family were outside and sleeping under the night sky. But she then began giggling as she felt a claw wiggle in her stomach. She looked over and saw it was Jocu.
"Penny for your thoughts?" he smiled.
"I'm just grateful you all still love and care for me. Especially after how stupid I was to fall for that deal," she said sadly.
"Oh no no no no. No frowning or we will tickle you all over again!" Jocu said, now wrapping his arms around her. "Lilac, my love and my family's love will not change. We would never let you go over something like that. You are very dear to me and I don't want to ever lose you."
"And I don't want to lose you either. Thank you. Thank you all," Lilac said, now gently hugging and cuddling each member of the family. She then crawled over to Jocu and kissed his cheek, making him smile.
"I love you Jocu. Thank you for being a real friend and for helping me," Lilac said, now nuzzling him too.
"And I love you too. I am glad I have my Lilac back. Now come here little one," he grinned, now holding her to his chest and nuzzling her neck as if she was his own child.
Jocu's love does not change and Lilac was beyond happy that it wouldn't! He was the greatest being she had ever met.
