A/N: Random blurb that came to me out of no where...
Severus Snape watched him walking down the hall, feigning a look of indifference because he assumed that's what was necessary, and possibly even expected. The boy was bright – there was no denying that. In fact, he was probably the most intelligent student he'd had in a long time, possibly ever.
It never failed to surprise him how much the boy looked like his father. He was a carbon copy, if ever there was such a thing. His hair, his features, his slight frame, even his posture and occasionally his clothes mimicked his paternal parent.
His eyes though, those belonged solely to his mother. There was nothing of his father there, and Severus had no complaints about that.
He caught the eyes of the carbon-copy-boy-save-for-one-feature, and slightly raised an eyebrow as he watched the boy look back at him.
The boy gave a small, slightly awkward smile as his caramel-colored eyes lit up while he said, "Hi, Dad."
"Hello, son," Severus returned, casting his eyes to the side as he watched his son round the corner.
It was then Severus felt the hand of his wife on his shoulder, and he heard Hermione softly speak: "He looks like just you."
"But with your eyes."
Thanks for reading. : )
