Rose laughed loudly as her Doctor made a joke. Her Doctor. She liked that. They stood in their kitchen, the cold floor stunning their bare feet. She held a large mixing bowl in
her hand and stirred the wooden spoon as she attempted to make bread.
"I know you all too well. We're going to end up with a monster while you're trying to cook!" said the Doctor, making her laugh.
"I've had quite enough of those!" she replied, setting down the bowl.
He broke into a big grin and grabbed something out of his pocket. A blue light poked out and she heard a long buzz. He had made his own sonic screwdriver months earlier
because he had felt "empty" without it (and a dozen other things in which he had
decided to replicate). She smiled slightly and looked down at the ring on her finger. It was beautiful, a small silver loop fitting perfectly around her ring finger with a small
TARDIS blue gem in the middle. "We're getting married tomorrow," she said, almost doubting the words that had just came out of her mouth. He hugged her tightly around her
waist and kissed the top of her head, his way of saying I can't wait.
