Nobody ever knew...

When I woke up this morning I never knew

This would be the last day I'd see you.

At school you cut up like everything was fine.

Nobody knew what was on your mind.

You kept it bottled up inside

In no one did you confide.

You left for home after the game.

To be alone and ease your pain.

At home you went to your room.

Nobody was there to hear the boom.

Later that night your family came home.

To find that you'd already gone.

Now we sit and wonder why you felt you wanted to die.

We try to find something to blame.

In the end there comes no name.

I bet you never knew

That so many loved you.

Now your life on earth is done and now you go to face the Son.

I pray that he'll forgive you,I want you to know I do.

That way he'll let you in so we can see you once again.
