Hank and Theodore like hanging out with Leland the green barge at the Big Harbour. He was a bit slow to them, but he was also a funny fellow.
One day however when Theodore and Hank went to see Leland, he didn't seem so happy.
"Guys, I hope you don't mind, but I'd rather have some time to myself just now."
He left them, looking very sad indeed.
...
"I wonder why Leland's so upset." Hank said.
"I know. It just seems strange." Replied Theodore. "Hm. I think we should see what's going on."
But before they got very far, they overheard George and Emily talking.
"Did you hear about Leland's friend-got in a terrible accident yesterday." George said.
Emily gasped. "Poor thing." She said.
"Indeed." Agreed George.
Hank and Theodore were surprised to hear this and a bit sad too.
They decided to let Leland have some time to himself before he opened up about what had happened.
