She is walking towards her, that familiar smirk upon her face. Despite the fact she is covered in the blood of fallen foes and she is quite possibly going to try and kill her... She is beautiful. The sky is grey; it is cold and raining. More importantly, the world is ending, but Valkyrie can't find it within her to care. Tanith Low is here with her and nothing else matters.
"Tanith. You're looking remnant-less."
"That's not a word. And yes, I am. I can say the same to you. You look Darquesse-less."
"It is a word now, and yes, I am." Valkyrie smiles, and it is an actual genuine smile. She hasn't smiled like that for months.
"When Darquesse takes over you again, what's going to happen to you Val?" The blonde says. Well, Tanith is not known for being subtle. But there is so much concern in her voice, that is directed at her. The destroyer of the world. The reason they're in this mess.
"I don't know." Valkyrie says, her voice soft.
"Then if you don't know, can we just skip this conversation? Can we just ignore the fact you're gonna tear this word apart? Can we ignore morals and good? Let's just pretend it's before we've changed... Can you just be kissing me now?" Tanith is practically begging, and it makes Valkyie's heart ache.
"The kissing sounds new."
"Well, first time for everything." And then their lips are smashing together. It is a kiss filled with desperation and raw need. Tongues are moving in a complicated and passionate dance, and Valkyrie can't get enough. When the need for air becomes too much, they break apart. Tanith's lips slowly travel down to Valkyrie's ear and with warm breath words are muttered.
"I love you."
And at that stage, Valkyrie always wakes up, her mind filled with bitterness. Her dreams have always been cruel to her, and Valkyrie can't help but think that if that scenario happens if Darquesse takes control, she wouldn't mind.
