Thud. Thud. The rhythmic thudding of the beast's hooves echoed around the valley. It stood at around two metres tall, its pale blue fur glowing in the light of the setting sun. Its long, slender legs, built for speed, powered it along effortlessly. It blinked, hiding the azure spheres of its eyes for a moment and whinnied, tossing its elongated snout skyward, its sapphire mane rippling from the movement. A snow-white cone of ivory protruded from its forehead. A unicorn.

It practically flew over the rocky terrain, its legs powering it along at an incredible speed. Craning its majestic neck to see over the nearby hilltops, it spotted a large settlement: Loc Lac, the hunter's city. It whinnied excitedly at the prospect of actually visiting a human city. Airships hovered like a swarm of flies over the city, carrying hunters to exotic destinations all over the world: icy tundras, scorching volcanoes, even the legendary Sacred Land. The unicorn would love to ride in airships and live the exciting life of a hunter...

The unicorn slowed to a trot as it passed through the enormous wrought iron gates at the entrance to Loc Lac. It was actually here! In a human city! It reared up onto its hind legs in excitement, letting out an overjoyed "Neigh!" Unfortunately for the unicorn, this drew the attention of a group of four hunters, who stared at it in amazement.

"What is that?"A hunter wearing cobalt-blue armour adorned with orange spikes on the shoulders and helm asked.

"I'm not sure... Maybe it's some sort of new Elder Dragon!" One of them wearing some sort of long yellow coat answered excitedly.

"If it is an Elder Dragon, we'll get awesome rewards for taking it down! Get it!" The hunters charged the unicorn, tying it up. They then carried it deeper into the city, where it was promptly carved up and used to make new weapons and armour for the greedy hunters.

The End!
