Sherlock scoffed. His Mummy had taken him to another park. That would make it the second time this week, Sherlock thought. As Sherlock made his way out of the car saw some kids running around a flat field. Sherlock looked around the park, it was in a different part of London he's never been to before, Sherlock claimed. He could tell from the way the grass was too dry look, and how the kids spoke to one another. Sherlock walked on a small stone path and sat under a shady tree. He looked at his brother who was having a conversation with some girl. She was probably the same age as him, and a friend of Mycroft's. Sherlock could tell Mycroft knew the girl because when she walked up to him, he didn't shove her to the side. What could a friend of Mycroft's be doing on the other side of London? Sherlock was very curious by this question but dismissed it. He could make fun of his brother later, he thought. Sherlock was very bored of the park and the children in it. At least Sherlock was, until a boy came running to him. The boy mustn't been only two years older than him but still a bit short. "Oi! Mate, mind passing the football?"

The blonde haired boy yelled as he raced for his ball. Sherlock looked up at the boy, he got up from his sitting position and grabbed the runaway ball. The blond boy grinned at Sherlock, "Hey, thanks. My name is John Watson." John gave a toothy grin and placed his hand out. "You're welcome, I'm Sherlock Holmes." Sherlock grabbed Johns hand and shock his hand. After their proper greeting, Sherlock passed John his football back. "Hey Sherlock, if you wanna join me and my mates for a game-" John was cut off by Sherlock. "Sorry, but I don't find these games very entertaining." John gave a soft smile at Sherlock then said, "Well, if ya' change your mind, we're over in the east field." Sherlock looked blankly at John. "I won't change my mind, I promise you." Sherlock stated, then John heard his colleagues calling out to him so he ran back. John waved at Sherlock then turned right back to his mates. Sherlock sighed, would John come back to check on Sherlock? Sherlock shuck his head, of course not. Sherlock knew better than to get his hopes too high when it came to people. Social work was never his strong points. After twenty minutes, John came racing right back to Sherlock. Sherlock blinked, he felt a small smile being placed on his lips, but tried his best to make his muscles to stop. "Hey Sherlock, you never came so after the game I thought I could entertain you myself." John gave another grin to Sherlock, and Sherlock nodded at Johns statement. "Okay."

Sherlock said as he looked up at John with his smile. "So Sherlock, what do you like to do for fun?" John beamed at Sherlock with a smile that could kill the Sun. "Puzzles, riddles, anything that involves me to solve it." Sherlock looked away from John, he was afraid that John would think of him as a weirdo. "Oh? So your really smart then?" Sherlock blinked, then looked up at John straight away. John was beaming even brighter than before. "Y-yes, I guess you could say that." Sherlocks cheeks started to burn and he moved his gaze from John. "Brilliant!" John seemed to enjoy Sherlocks intelligence, and Sherlock was getting quite fond of Johns smile. Maybe Sherlock could live with being at the park, at least anyone John was at.
