So this is my first Mary and Ash story. It has some other night world characters in there. I don't know who yet. Anything that is said in reviews i will take all the information that is given.
I do not own any characters.

Here I stand at the airport waiting for her. It has been a year and a half since I last seen her. My best friend, Mary-Lynette. I don't know why she decided to move from the country to the city. Here she can't see the stars. It puzzled me ever since she told me. I've known her since I was a baby. I use to live in Barair Creek with her. When I was 4 and a half I moved with my mum too the city were I met Timmy. Even though we were young, our parents helped us keep in touch. I visited her every year even though I went from family to family. Her parents fought for custody over me but they didn't win. They even tried adoption but some fault in the system stopped them. I was hoping that someday we would actually be sisters but that now seems legally impossible.

I snapped out of my thoughts when I feel to the ground. I let my guard down and I was on the floor. I looked up and saw Mark on top over me.
"Holy cow, you have grown Mark. How you been?" Mark helped me up as I took the view of him in. He was now as towering over me, his navy blue eyes, and spikey brown hair, could not be described as anything else but handsome.
"I've been good. Mary has lost her luggage, so she will be a while. How have you been? Been slaying any vampires lately?" Mark the only one to believe me about my slaying duty. To be honest when I was younger I use to have a crush on him. I know right should be the other way around but it wasn't.
"Yes, I have and one night I will take you out, but keep it quiet okay. Man it is so good to see you." I pulled him into a bear hug.
"RASHELLLLLLLLLLLL." Mark pulled away from me as Mary Lynette, came running at me. "It has been too long." She knocked the wind out of me with her luggage.
"I know, can't wait until you meet everyone. Welcome to the big city." I pulled back. Mary-Lynette hadn't grown at all. Her dark brown hair was tied up in a messy bun, and her Prussian blue eyes, standing next to Mark they might as well be twins, not just siblings.
"Are you sure you guys aren't twins?" I asked.
"Every time I enter the conversation that is what I always her." Mr. carters voice entered our conversation.
"Mr. Carter nice to see you again."
"Please Rashel, call me Dad. Every time I see you we go through this. You are like my own daughter. So please call me Dad."
"Okay, Micky." I smiled as his face went red from the memory, Mark, Mary and me catching him dancing to Bring It On credits.
"Where are the troublesome two?" I asked. Aaron and Bell, were Mark and Mary's younger Half-siblings. They were always pinching everything and anything you left about.
"Over here. Don't offer to help anyone will you? Nice to see you again Rashel." Claudia was one of the nicest people you could ever meet. Long black hair and chocolate brown eyes, stood out against her soft, matured features. Aaron, had curly blonde hair and dark blue eyes, while his sister Bell had straight black hair with blue eyes. They were only four but looked so alike to their parents.
"Well seeing as everyone is here let's get going?" I grabbed the troublesome twos bags and walked out of the airport.
"You're driving? You don't have a license or a car." Mary-Lynette ran up beside me.
"So, my foster parents don't care that their van is missing. Plus your parents don't need to know." I winked at her. Her expressed remained not impressed. "Lighten up girl."
"Only if I can drive." Her expression changed from disappointment to happiness. This will be fun.
