Title...Truth or Dare: For All To See

Set in the beginning of season 4 and thanks to Ladygris for the challenge.
It was two in the morning and nobody was around, which aided her purpose immensely. She placed the four items on the table as part of the dare. Why did she ever ask what truth or dare was all about. She remembered Laura turning to her and smiling. Right then she knew it meant trouble. Laura had a very strange sense of humour.
But on another level she knew that maybe Laura had really helped her by making that dare. She could still hear Laura say the words and her heart nearly jumping out of her chest. Laura said, "You have to make a public declaration of love but in such a way that only the person you love will know who it is meant for. And you have a week to do it in."
She had secretly asked Radek for help. He had said yes and asked no questions. And so here she was placing the four items on the table for all to see as they came into the mess hall for breakfast. Only he would truly understand what they meant and then it was up to him. She was putting her heart on display here and hoping that he returned her feelings. After losing Carson and Elizabeth she was not going another year pretending. Touching each item tenderly brought back that special memory. She then turned and made her way to her room.
The next morning all was a buzz with speculation, trying to figure out who the message was for! On the table was a model ferris wheel, a football, a model jet plane, and a cup of tea.
Everyone was so preoccupied they didn't notice the secret smile and look of hope on John Sheppard's face.
