Hello my dear readers and reviewers! Yup, another random one-shot that came to my head and not only that, it's about Ikkaku and Rukia. A rather strange pairing but just thinking about it made me like a lot more. Well I'll stop talking and you can go ahead and read. :)

Ikkaku was just recently fighting an espada. The fourth espada, Ulquiorra Shifer, to be exact. Ikkaku was no match for the fourth espada. Ikkaku was left there, close to death. Ulquiorra would have finished him, but his lord, Aizen, called for him. Ulquiorra left, stating that he's not even going to bother to finish this weak trash. Ikkaku would have yelled at him to finish him off, but what's the point? He was going to die anyways. No one would come help him since they're in the middle of a war. No one could care less that a squad eleven, third seat was killed. No one would miss him. And if he survived without truly killing his enemy, he would be breaking his captain's moto. You die in battle or you kill your enemy.

Ikkaku sighed, not moving at all. He was just lying there, in the sand of Hueco Mundo. In his own blood. He sighed once again, only to get smacked in the head. "What the hell was that for?" Ikkaku yelled at who ever smacked him.

It was Rukia Kuchiki who smacked him. Ikkaku was surprised to see her here. Rukia glared at him. "What's with all the depressing sighs! Are you just gonna lay there and die?" Rukia yelled angerly.

Ikkaku was about to sigh once more, but thought better of it. He didn't want to get smacked again. "What's the point? I failed to kill the espada."

"Are you a dumbass!"Rukia yelled at Ikkaku. "Just because you didn't win, doesn't mean you can just lay there waiting to die! Don't you wanna get stronger to defeat Ichigo? To defeat your captain?" Ikkaku looked at Rukia and realized that she is right. Rukia seemed to realize that and started healing him. "You may think no one would care that you died, but you're wrong. I would." Rukia said quietly, looking at Ikkaku. After realizing what she said, Rukia looked away, red in the face and said quickly "So would Yumichika, Renji, Rangiku, and Ichigo and.."

"Rukia?" said Ikkaku. Rukia looked at Ikkaku, still red in the face. "Thanks." And Ikkaku smiled at her. Rukia blushed but smiled back.

Complete! How was the one-shot. No more chapters after this.
