"I can't believe I caught a legendary pokémon!" said a girl looking at the Master Ball that held the Legendary pokémon Xerneas. Serena and her friends had just escaped from team flare's secret base hidden underground and she caught the pokémon they were using to destroy the world.

"Come on Serena let us see the pokémon," said Shauna eager to see it up close.

"Hmm..." Serena thought about it putting her on her chin and looking up.

"Okay!" She managed to say.

"Come on out, Xerneas" Serena yelled and tossed the pokéball into the air and opened up, and out came Xerneas.

"Cool!" Yelled Shauna and the rest except Calem.

"..."

Calem was behind a tree. He wasn't sure why he didn't feel excited about the pokémon Serena just saved from team flare.

"Hey!" Said Serena finally knowing where he was. She walked up to him.

"Why aren't you with us?" Asked Serena

"...I...don't know" Said Calem slowly

"Are you...jealous?" Said, Serena who stared to squint her eyes at.

"What!?...no!" Said Calem

"Well I think you are" Said Serena with her hand on her hips with a hint of anger

"Am not"

"Are too"

"Not"

"Are"

"Not!"

"Are!"

Then Xerneas walk over to them wondering why it's trainer was a bit mad with her friend.

"...ern?" It said.

"I think Calem is jealous that I have a legendary and he doesn't" She turned around to speak with the targe pokemon.

"SHUT UP ALREADY!" Yelled Calem.

Then Calem faced the other way away from her. He ran and threw out his pokéball, out came his Talonflame.

"Fly now," he said and got on its back(or however you get on Talonflame). It raised it wings and with a powerful flap, it was off the ground.

"Wait!" Yelled Serena but he was too far away to hear her.

"Where did Calem fly off to?" Asked Shauna wondering why he would leave just like that.

"I...think..." She said and fell on her knees. "I don't know"

Somewhere in the Kalos region, Calem stoped at Anistar City.

"Maybe I am a bit jealous," Calem said to himself

He walked around the city and sat down on a bench near the sundial.

"Why you must be one of professor Sycamore's pokédex holders?" Said a man.

"Yeah" Calem replied wondering how this person knew specifically who he was.

"One girl asked me about the legendary of Kalos and now she has it," said the man remembering their short conversation. She was wandering around the city when she spoke to him he started the conversation, but she quickly got bored and left before he could completely finish.

"Yeah I saw her with it," Said with a normal voice

"But I didn't have the time to tell her about something else"

"What was it?" Asked Calem now intrigued.

"There is another"

"Really?"

"Yes it resembles a Y"

"What's it called?"

"Its name is...Yveltal"

"Wow Xerneas, Yveltal it's like X, Y"

"Yes, legend has it that it is a pokèmon of destruction"

"Whoa." Calem was now fully invested in this man's story he had to tell.

"Yes and every thousand years it steals the life force of every living thing that surrounds it and turns into some kind of cocoon"

"And where is this pokémon?"

The man stood still scratching his head for a while before finally remembering something.

"It rests hidden deep in a mountain or underground"

"Wow," Said Calem in amazement.

"Well got to go, nice knowing you," Said the man turning around and going about his usual business.

"Hmm...maybe I can find it." Calem stood for a moment thinking of searching for this pokemon. "No, it's asleep I can't just walk up to it and disturb its slumber." He didn't want to go and suddenly wake it up. Who knows what it would do to him. It steals the living force of everything in its radius.

Calem got up from the bench and started to head home. Then he stopped again and taking something out of his bag.

"Maybe I can find it and then when it awake I can capture it," he said to himself looking at the empty Masterball in his hand

As he walked home he thought of every place in the Kalos region that he could look for it. He decided to walk back home even though he could easily fly there. He decided to take a detour through the wood to cut a few miles off of his trip.

He wasn't looking where he was going and fell into a hole

"Aagghh" he yelled

"Ouch," he shot in pain when he finally landed

"Huh?"

He looked around, he had never seen this place before there where many cave systems that eventually connected to each other. He walked around looking for a place where he could use an escape rope.

"Wow this place is huge," he said

"Hmm.." he hummed as he looked over a cliff

"Better not fall," he told himself Then the rock cracked

"Crap, I'm gonna die," he said before he fell down.

"Aaagghhh" yell Calem then he fell on a soft surface. "Wow, that was a soft landing"

"Soft landing?" he thought about what he just said. Most caves didn't have any soft areas. If it was it was usually either a pokemon nest or the pokemon itself.

He looked down to see a large egg shape rock with lines glowing from it

"What's this?" He then got down and put his hand on it. It wasn't soft like a bed but it wasn't hard like a rock either.

Then a soft growl came from inside it.

"Oh...shit"

Then the light from Inside died out. Thinking it was going to explode he Calem stood still for about half an hour before the light returned. Thinking he was safe he started to climb down. However, it suddenly burst open.

"I really regret waking home now."

He was thrown off to the ground. 'Oh, so now I get the hard impact.' He sat up and looked at where the egg-shaped rock was.

*gulp*

"Yveltal?" Calem said to it

It responded to the sound of Calem's voice. Looking down on him.

"I heard about you but...didn't expect to see you the same day" he commented.

Yveltal stepped forward and sniffed at him and got back a roared at him

"Guess it smelled Xerneas on me...guess they don't like each other"

"Well guess I better send out a pokémon."

He got a pokéball and sent out Talonflame. Yveltal shot a beam and it hit Talonflame. The bird hit the ground. Calem expected Talonflame to get back up, but it didn't get up. It was already beat.

"No way, it absorbed his energy" He came to the conclusion

"Crap if this goes on all be out of pokémon " looking at his other four pokéballs

"Wait..." Calem said And took out his Masterball

"Hey, Yveltal if you want to defeat Xerneas then come with me!" He yelled and thew the pokéball.

It hit Yveltal and shook three times and boom caught.

"Wow can't believe I... caught it!" he didn't think that it would work. He expected the pokemon to dodge the ball.

"Now just add it to the rest of my party and use an escape rope" he continued to look for a way out.

Soon Calem was outside of the cave. It was the middle of the night.

"Maybe now I'll defeat Serena," he said looking at the masterball hanging from his belt.

When he finally got back home he went to grab the gate door until he was stopped by a voice.

"Well, I hope we're feeling better now," Said Serena with an annoyed face.

"Yeah," he said unoptimistic

"Well I'll forgive you after a pokémon battle," she said holding her master ball in a show off fashion.

"One on one"

"Crap," Said Calem. he was planning on challenging he later on, but not right this second.

"Can we not? It's late and I really want to get to bed," he said hoping she was also tired. However, she looked at him like he was joking. With a look with defeat, he walked over to the nearby field. He stood on one side while she took the other. Soon out of nowhere the rest of the town came, even the professor.

"Well, time for me to win...again," she said with a mocking tone. He wondered if she planned all of this.

"Come on out, Xerneas"

Then something came up to Calem. As he saw the rainbow pokémon emerge fro the ball he looked at it with hatred.

Then he grinned.

"What wrong with you?" Said Serena ticked off.

"You'll see," he said coldly. He held up his master ball

"What pokemon did he get this time?" Asked Shauna. She saw that he had the master ball he was gifted. The master ball had the ability to capture any Pokemon without fail. So this must have been a rare or powerful one.

"Just because you have a pokémon in a master ball doesn't mean it powerful" Said Serena.

"Just you wait, I don't think Xerneas will like this guy much"

"Huh?"

"Let's go, Yveltal!"

"What?" Said the professor

And out came Yveltal and once it saw Xerneas it was glad it let itself get caught by this boy.

"Now, use oblivion wing," Calem yelled and the pokemon chared it its attack.
