This is just meaningless Percico fluff. Vague spoilers for both series, but really it's just Percy and Nico fluff without plot (and mentions of Annabeth). It hasn't been proofread by anyone other than me so it will contain mistakes.

I don't own pjo or hoo they belong to rick riordan.

EDIT: I mostly rewrote it. I changed it from 1st person to 3rd person, and fixed a few things up.

The smell of pancakes – blue pancakes, he knew, because it was a Monday and his mom usually made blue pancakes on Mondays – was really tempting, but sadly he knew that he couldn't stay to eat them. Halfway through brushing his teeth Annabeth had IM'd him (thank the gods it was Annabeth and not anybody else because then he would have died of embarrassment) and told him to put a shirt on and get his butt to Camp Half Blood.

He wanted to stay at home. He really, really, really wanted to stay and eat blue pancakes with his mom and Paul and Nico, but Annabeth's dangerous grey eyes had dared him not to listen to her and be as quick as possible.

He got ready quickly, scouring his room for a shirt and double checking that Riptide was in his pocket. Despite being as careful as possible while rummaging around his room, he managed to step on a squeaky floorboard, causing the current inhabitant of his bed to move.

"Percy? Where are you going?" a tired-sounding voice said. It sounded more like "wherereygoi".

Percy looked back to the bed to see Nico di Angelo, in all his morning grumpiness and glory, looking at him from under his long, messy hair. Nico's cheeks were slightly flushed, and his eyes dark and narrowed in sleepiness. Percy walked back to the bed and adjusted the blankets so Nico would be more comfortably cocooned.

"Annabeth IM'd me," Percy explained quietly. "She said she wanted me to go to camp for something." It hadn't seemed too urgent, but Annabeth was not to be kept waiting.

"Can't you go later?" Nico asked, slurring the words together in exhaustion and pouting up at Percy in that way that made the Ghost King look much less scary and intimidating than he should be.

He shook his head and gave Nico a soft kiss on his forehead. "I'll be back later?"

Nico moved his head in what Percy could only assume was a nod. He muttered, "Say hi to Annabeth," turned over onto his back, and seemed to fall asleep.

Percy gently leaned forward and placed another kiss on Nico's head and made sure to close the door quietly behind him.

He passed by the kitchen and walked out of the apartment, leaving both Nico and the blue pancakes behind.
