"Look, i know it sounds stupid, but it was a promise I made." Gil told his friends as he walked down the hall.
"It doesn't matter, amigo. It's just so...I can't even put it into words. You're a senior!" his friend, Antonio said.
Gil shrugged. "It doesn't matter."
"But it does! How can you be friends with us if you haven't even kissed anyone?" Francis asked, laughing a little.
"Sh-shut up! It's not my fault your cousin is so shy!" Gil deffensivly said.
Antonio shrugged. "Whatever you say, Gil."
The bell rang and the trio went off to their classes.
After class, Gil left without his friends, looking around for the little blonde.
"I'll show them. After this they won't make fun of me." he muttered. After a minute, he found him, heading for the language area.
'But...he already knows French...' Gil decided to keep following him instead of going after him right then, like he so wanted to. He saw that the little blonde was headed to the German class. 'Birdie's learning German? The language of awesome?'
Gil ran over to him, grabbing him a hug, getting him to make a little noise that sounded like "maple!"
"Birdie, you're taking German?" Gil asked.
Mattie shrugged. "y-yeah..."
Gil smiled. "That's so awesome!"
"Yeah...um...would you mind letting go of me?" he quietly asked.
Gil just turned him around in his arms. "Nein, I can't let go of you now." His smiled just widened a little when he saw Mattie blushing. "You're cute."
"E-eh?"
Gil gently held Mattie's chin and leaned forward, gently kissing him. He gently pulled away to see a stunned, red Mattie looking back at him.
The bell rang, but Gil kept holding Mattie.
"You didn't kiss me back..." Gil said with a little frown. He looked down, slowly letting go of Mattie. "So, you don't like me back, huh? Heh...no problem for the awesome me... I-I guess I'l- mmff?!" He was cut off when he was caught in an innocent kiss. When he realized Mattie was kissing him, he quickly returned the kiss.
Mattie gently pulled away. "I-I was just caught off guard...I-I do like you back, Gil...I just didn't think you would like me back, o-or even notice me." he softly said, his face red.
Gil smiled. "There's no way I wouldn't notice you, Birdie. Nun, die Klasse zu erhalten, bevor Sie zu spat sind. (now, get to class before you're too late) I'll see you after."
Mattie nodded. "A-alright."
Gil kissed Mattie's cheek before letting him go to class, then going to his own. 'Guess this'll be a good year after all.'
