Lily and James appeared in an unfamiliar Gryffindor common room.
"This isn't our common room- are you sure we're in our own time?" James said, surveying the surroundings.
"Maybe we should ask someone where, and when, we are," Lily suggested, tucking the time-turner under her shirt. She looked around until she spotted a lone boy scratching his quill on a piece of parchment.
"Hi," she said, "Erm, can you tell us where we are?"
"Of course, you're in Gryffindor common room," the boy replied. James scratched his head. He looked around.
"Why does it look so different and - BLOODY HELL - why do you look like me?!" He had finally looked at the boy. Lily studied both their faces.
"Oh yeah,"
"And your eyes look uncannily like Lily's!"
"Oh yeah!"
The boy just looked at them both.
"I'm Harry," he said.
"James,"
"Lily!"
"Hey my parents' names were James and Lily!"
"Then you're mother must be a very nice lady!" Lily laughed.
"I don't know, I've never met her, both my parents died when I was a baby,"
"Oh sorry," James mumbled.
"But anyway, time for class, come on!" Harry said and led off. He led them to the dungeons where a man with greasy shoulder - length hair and a long crooked nose was yelling at terrified first years.
"Hey, Lils, don't you think that looks like Snape?" James snorted.
"Er James," said Harry, giving James a sideways look, "That is Snape,"
"But he's barely past fourth year!"
Lily frowned "Harry, what year is it?"
"1995"
"James, we have to get back to our own time!" Lily whispered urgently. She scratched at her neck.
"Oh my God," Her face paled. The time turner wasn't thereā¦

Harry Potter was stuck on his herbology homework. Where was Hermione when you needed her?!
"I don't know, I've never seen them before," the girl walked over to him.
"Hi," she said, "Erm, can you tell us where we are?"
"Of course, you're in Gryffindor common room," Harry replied. The boy scratched his head. He looked around.

"But anyway, time for class, come on!" Harry said and led off. It was potions, so he walked to the dungeons. Lily asked him what year it was and when he told her, whispered to James. She checked her neck for something then her face went really white.
Potions was pretty uneventful. Lily and James had run after they realised they had a lesson with Snape. He saw them again after the days lessons were over. They were in the common room when he got back. He needed to talk to them. Who were they? And where, or even when, had they come from?
