It was Yule once again and all of her family was together. The children that were in school had returned home and were engaging their younger siblings in decorating the tree. Harry and Severus sat on the settee, close enough to hold onto each other's hands, but also leaving space for her to sit with them and enjoy the view. Their friends the Longbottoms, the Scamanders and the Malfoys, had left with their own children, always amazed by the yearly gathering of the Potter – Snape family. Hermione was no longer amazed. This is what love looks like. This was their family.
