A/N: This is for the 1 2 3 challenge on HPFC.

After Dora had Teddy and I held him for the first time all my old doubts came back full force. I hated myself for putting Dora and now our innocent son through this. He was going to live a life with prejudice and probably war. Harry was out there on his own at the age of 17 and I wasn't by his side helping him. I feel I own Lily and James that.

"Remus?" Dora questioned.

"Yes." I responded as I came out of my thoughts.

"What were you thinking about? You looked like you were in pain." She asks in concern.

"I was just thinking about the world we brought Teddy into," I answer giving our son to her. "I'm going to take a quick walk and mull things over."

As I leave, I feel her eyes burning into my back. She understood the double-meaning of my words and I wish she didn't. I left for a quite café around the corner. It was a cold night and I wrapped my coat tighter around my self. It was the perfect place to get lost in thought with a good cup of coffee. I don't know how long I sat there just looking past any discernable object, never focusing on any one thing.

My silence was broken by "Professor Lupin? Are you alright?"

I looked up and saw Luna Lovegood hovering over me. I was about to lie and say everything was fine, but something made me want to share my story with her.

"No, I'm not. I just brought a child into a world plagued by war and a world that will always look down on him. No one will except the child of a werewolf! Now, I'm sitting here when I should be helping Harry. I just don't know what to do with myself!" I said, full of emotions that I didn't fully comprehend.

"Harry can fend for himself and he wouldn't accept help from you when you have a newborn son. As for your son, he will have you and his mother. He couldn't ask for any better. The war will end and life will go on. He will always have you if he is made fun of for having a werewolf for a father. You need to look at the world in a different light; all you see is the negative side. I do hope for the best for you, Professor." Luna said in her dreamy voice before leaving.

He sat there a little while longer before going back to Dora and his son. He entered the room to find them asleep. He sat next to them thinking about how much his life really had changed for the better since he'd met Dora.
