OH AND ALSO

Okay, so I was reported twice already, maybe more for updating a dead story with 'blog posts'. :P So, now I'm going to post two chapters of a story I wrote for English II, which is Terminator fanfiction. This takes place sometime very soon after the events of Terminator: Salvation. In total, it's nine pages long, and over 2400 words, so I think if I divide it evenly, I should be able to keep the story posted, yeah? :P I wrote this stupidly long thing for English II, and it sucks. xD;; I'm not going to lie, I hate it. It took me three hours at a computer to write, so you can imagine how tired I was at the end. Anyways, enjoy!

Judgement Day. That was the day that life as we knew completely vanished, and was replaced with something far worse. More than half of the human population was wiped out on that day, when Skynet launched its' nuclear attack against humankind, resulting in a nuclear fallout. I was one of the lucky ones. I survived the chaos of August 29th, 1997, when over one hundred major cities were completely destroyed, reduced to nothing but mere rubble, if anything still existed at all. I survived, but only to face the hellish aftermath that awaited me.

My name is Klein. I am the leader of a small, outlying force of resistance fighters. We fight to live, against the machines. These machines are known commonly as Terminators, and they are ruthless, relentless, and most of all, vicious killers. It is currently unknown how many of these Terminators exist, how many are being made, if they will eventually stop, or if human-kind can survive. It is natural selection after all, the strong destroy the weak, and the weak eventually die away and cease to exist all together.

However, there might still be a glimmer of hope for us to fight back. My team and I successfully managed to capture a new series model of Terminators, called the T-780. These machines are smarter, faster, more agile, and more ruthless than ever. This one model managed to kill four out of out twenty man team. We managed to use a special tool we had been developing to disable the Terminators, which may help us win this war, and help us survive. The special tool is a strong electronic pulse, that scrambles the Terminators' sensors and vision, allowing us to capture it. It takes a few minutes to deploy, however, and in those short few minutes, the machine managed to kill off a fifth of our group. It is truly terrifying to picture in my mind.

With the new Terminator that we managed to capture, we hope to gain some sort of knowledge of how Skynet became self aware, and how the machines are being made, what their programming is, and most importantly, how to stop their ever relentless onslaught. If we fail this part of our mission, we will lose against the machines. We're losing hope, for many of us have died, and it seems like it has all been in vain. The machines keep showing up, with more models being reproduced by the dozen. I still have hope, however, all thanks to one man... John Conner.

After successfully apprehending the T-780, we sent out a message to the main resistance headquarters, which is located at the Seacrest nuclear bunker. Shortly afterwards, we received a message back, which told us to come up to Seacrest, a journey of around three hundred miles, to deliver the T-780 to them, to have John Conner and his team of scientists and mechanics figure out all they can about Skynet and the Terminators.

We set out the immediately, loading the T-780, which was bound tightly with the heaviest chains and ropes we could find, onto the back of our army grade military truck and set out into the open roads. Just to be safe, we put the machine inside our smallest, safest container, to allow for barely any movement should it somehow manage to break free of our numerous restraints. We loaded the container containing the T-780 into a separate area of the truck, below us so we could use the full space of the back of the truck should we run into any trouble. We set out with six men, all of us armed with miniguns and assault rifles. We packed along a few extra sets of ammo and bigger guns, including a mounted sentry gun, a rocket launcher, and a bunch of different kinds of grenades.

As we drove through the ruins caused by the machines, we got a really good look at how much widespread damage these machines had really cause. We drove past all sorts of things, from burned buildings to still smoldering ruins of cars and houses. We past by many small towns that had been completely reduced to nothing, and if the cause had been from the nuclear blasts of Judgement Day, or the aftermath of the machines we couldn't tell. It was a real reminder of what we are in this war to fight for.

After a while, we found our way onto open roads, bleak and empty, with almost no signs that any of the Skynet attacks had happened. It made me wish that I could go back to the time before all of this began, and make it all stop somehow. I think that's what we all want at this point. A chance for peace, a break from fighting this war constantly. Suddenly, cutting through the long, empty silence, a noise we had never heard before come growing out of no where.

"Hey, do you hear that?" One of the soldiers sitting beside me, in the middle of the three seats in front, was listening intently, looking in the mirrors to see if he could see the cause.

"Yeah," I replied, glancing at my side mirror as the soldier driving did the same. "And I don't like it..." I started to grow wary as the growl grew louder, until it nearly filled the entire existence of the air around us. Suddenly, I caught a glance of the thing that was making the noise, and it completely and utterly shocked me. It was a jet black motorcycle, with red headlights. However, this thing didn't seem to have any rider, which made me do a double take as the thing accelerated to come at a steady pace beside the truck, on my side of the truck. Then, to my utter astonishment, the thing moved, but not like a motorcycle would. It moved like it was transforming, unfolding slightly to peer with its' red headlights into the cab of the truck. Only then did I realize that the headlights were not headlights, but eyes. The eyes of a Moto-Terminator, a model that was shaped like a motorcycle, which was used by Skynet to hunt down humans. It was a model with a sleek, black design, with armored plating and gyroscopic control mechanisms. However, none of the files on the Moto-Terminators described what it was doing. None of this model was capable of transforming. No model we knew of was able to transform. It seemed that this model was capable of going on foot, which is terrifying to even imagine. Moto-Terminators are the fastest and most agile Terminators that we know of, with top speeds of over two hundred miles per hour, and special sensors in to analyze and review the terrain ahead to avoid any obstacles. It's also one of the deadliest machines too, with two extremely powerful miniguns mounted to it.

The machine looked at me with its' piercing red eyes, probably scanning me and confirming my identity. Just as quickly as it had accelerated and transformed, it braked to fall back, shooting back behind us and disappearing from sight. Suddenly, I heard another roar approaching as the soldiers and I prepared to take out anything that came our way, loading our assault rifles and readying ourselves for the worst. However, nothing could have prepared me for what happened next. As the roar grew louder, we saw another of the transforming Moto-Terminators approaching, coming right at us, with no signs of slowing down. Suddenly, as we were bracing for impact with the Terminator, it did something we could never have prepared for. Right before we were about to collide with it, machine transformed then hunched down and sprung in the air, spinning like a missile. As it travelled at us and spiraled over the truck, almost in slow motion, its red eyes flashed, and the sound of a machine gun shattered the consistent drone of the engine. I looked over to see the soldier that was sitting beside me gasping, bleeding heavily as the light faded from his eyes. I looked at him, as he made eye contact with me. I could see it in his eyes, during his last moments, how frightened and desperate he was. His eyes were wide, and his pupils were dilated into huge discs. I looked away, unable to stand watching one of my comrades die.

Okay, so this is where I'll split the two pieces, okay? :P I'm sorry in advanced if this story sucked, but I dunno. Maybe it doesn't. I got a terrible grade on it, mostly because of my computer correcting every its' I made to it's... Oh well. Part two will be updated immediately after this one, okay? :)
