Holiday TWEWY!
"Oh no not this again."
"How rude! At least you can complement me! I put a lot of effort into this outfit!"
Neku glanced down. Shiki was wearing a red dress. It had long sleeves and the hem had what look like white cotton. A Santa hat on her head and red boots complemented the outfit.
"I thought Halloween already ended."
"I'm Santa! See!"
"Yeah, yeah I see."
Shiki huffed indignantly. "I worked hard on this outfit okay! Even Mr. Mew is wearing a hat!"
"He looks even more like a pig now."
"Shut up!"
Neku chuckled. "Is this going to be a theme? Like, every holiday you're going to have a new outfit."
"Well…. It depends on how fast I can make them." She paused momentarily. "I-I mean, if it's weird than I can-"
"No, no it's fine. I mean you actually look good-" Neku cut himself off.
"Good?"
"Good…. in it." He all but mumbled the last part. Shiki smiled.
"Glad you said that because I made you one too!"
"What?"
"Calm down, it's just the hat."
And with that Shiki held out a…. black Santa hat?
"Why is it-?"
Shiki put it on his head. "I felt like if I made you a red one it would blend with your hair too much. I think this one looks good on you."
Silence.
"I-I mean if it's too weird I can just take it back-"
"No," he cut her off. "This is fine. I'll wear it."
Neku was glad he did, because for the rest of Christmas every time Shiki looked at him, she smiled.
This is kinda a throw back to the fic where Shiki dressed up like Neku for Halloween. Also the Santa hat is inspired by the black Santa hat Sora wears when he visits Christmas town in KH.
