When You Are Gone

I never thought I'd need you there when I cry

The Lunatic Fringe of the Shield sat in the empty hotel room. He sat there and cried as he replayed old memories of him and one of his boyfriends. He still isn't able to believe that he would turn on him and Roman and how he would leave with the enemy. He snapped and threw things around the room from his bag.

When you walk away I count the steps that you take

As the Resident Powerhouse of the Shield sat in the shower feeling the warm water land on sore, bruised and battered back. Remember the attack from earlier in the night. He couldn't believe that Seth had turned on both of his boyfriends. Eventually, he walked out of the bathroom to see that Dean had trashed the room.

I've never felt this way before

And the clothes you left, they lie on the floor

Dean had found one of Seth's shirts in his bag. He sat there a cuddled with the shirt. Roman wrapped his muscular arms around his lover and let his tears roll down his cheeks. "Roe. Why did Seth leave us? Were we not good enough for him?" Dean sobbed. "I don't know Dean. I just don't know." Roman said while laying on the bed holding the sobbing Dean.

Both Roman and Seth knew that Dean had trust issues from past experiences. Betraying Dean and Roman was unacceptable and Roman knew it. Hurting Dean physically and emotionally would cause for some repercussions in the ring. "Roe, promise me that you won't leave me because I don't think that I could handle losing you to." Dean sobbed again. "I am here and I am not going to leave you." Roman said while consoling Dean.

Dean fell asleep in his lover's arms during the early hours of the morning. Roman sat there and watched his heartbroken lover sleep peacefully. The memories of Seth leaving the first time and how Dean destroyed both the locker room and the hotel room. Roman kissed Dean's forehead before falling asleep.
