Ulrich awoke, the cries made him stir. A few moments ago, he was in a deep restful slumber and now he lay awake, staring at his dorm's ceiling. He sat on the edge of the bed and pulled his hair back. He. Was. Going to. Kill. Odd. Or Sissi. Probably both. He glanced up at Odd. Dead asleep. As always. If only Mr. Delmas would allow Sogar and Odd to share a dorm. Ulrich could get sleep and Odd could take responsibility.
Did he just think that? Odd and responsibility in the same thought? He chuckled to himself. That would never happen. He pinched the bridge of his nose. Cries to screams. Odd stirred. Was he actually going to get up? Nope. He turned over and kept on snoring. Even Kiwi was at the end of his bed, sniffing and whimpering at the bassinet. Ulrich sighed. Kiwi had more responsibility then Odd.
Ulrich got up and went to the lavender bassinet. He scooped up Even in his arms and began to rock her. Ulrich looked around for a pacifier or a blanket. Her blanket was being cuddled with, by her father, Odd. Her pacifier was in a stale candy bag. Ulrich sighed. How did Sogar trust Odd?
He glanced at the door as he held the screaming infant. "We'll go see mommy and aunt Sissi since daddy is a idiot," smiled Ulrich. He gulped. Having to see Sissi at this hour? He was sure to get nightmares. But nightmares to no sleep? He'd take nightmares. Ulrich left his door and dragged himself and a screaming Even to the girl's wing and up to the Delmas' Dorm.
Ulrich opened the door and automatically the two girls were awoken by the baby's cries. Sissi didn't see it was Ulrich and instead barked at him. "Odd! Take that annoying baby away!"
Ulrich chuckled as he was greeted by Sogar. She giggled at Ulrich. "Even keeping daddy up?"
He shook his head and laughed. "More like keeping uncle Ulrich up," he said with a smile.
She cocked her head. "Why didn't you wake Odd?" asked Sogar. "He is her daddy after all."
"Have you tried to wake a dead person before?" chuckled Ulrich handing Even over to her mother. "He sleeps like the dead and he says I snore loud enough to keep someone awake!"
Sogar swept up a clean pacifier and placed it in Even's mouth. "Do you? I can be the one to test out, Ulrich?" cooed Sissi, patting the space in her bed next to her.
"Yup, I was right," chuckled Ulrich. "Nightmares!"
Sogar giggled and Aelita joined Ulrich's side. "Why isn't Odd taking care of Even?"
"Odd barely takes care of Kiwi!" laughed Ulrich as Even calmed down in her mother's arms. "I must admit, it is pretty stupid being young parents, but Even sure it beautiful."
"If you're my boyfriend, you can see her all the time," said Sissi.
"Yeah?" said Ulrich. "I'm friends with her parents."
