Another Philby and Willa one shot!

This was Philby's favorite time of the year. Once a year all of the Florida schools got together and hosted a carnival for the students. Tonight was going to be the night Philby would finally tell her how her really feels.

Willa fidgeted with the red ribbon tied on the side of her white sun dress. Usually she wasn't nervous but tonight she was going to meet up with the guy she had a huge crush on. Willa checked one last time to make sure she had everything and them slowly walked to the local park.

Philby scanned the crowed park. Both sides of the sidewalk were lined with colorful booths from toss the bean bag to face paints. Out back in the open field were a couple of rides like a fun house and fairest wheel. Philby weaved through the crowed and frozen. There she was, her brown wavy hair was flowing in the gentle wind and her eyes sparkled at the sight of him.

Willa slightly pushed her way through the crowd and made her way towards Philby. "Hey" she said giving him a quick hug. "Wow, you look…amazing" Philby said not knowing where that came from. Willa smiled and blushed "Thanks!" "Would you like to walk around with me?" Philby asked. Willa smiled "I would love too."

Philby took Willa's hands and slowly they made their way through the crowd looking at the prizes in the game booths and talking about how life was going. "Willa, I don't mean to upset you when I ask this but how are you dealing with your father…." Philby stopped not being able to say the last part.

Willa's father had died a month and a half ago in a car wreck, ever since then her family had never been the same. Every night her mother came home from work and went straight to her room never saying a word to anymore. Willa's older brother was the only family member that cared about her anymore. Philby had showed up at Willa's father's funeral to support her through the hard time. That was when she was started to like him. He was the only one that she could call at one in the morning and cry to knowing that he would always be there for her.

"Better because I know you're here" Willa said smiling and giving his hand a slight squeeze Philby smiled. Philby and Willa stopped in front of the lit up fairest wheel. "Oh Philby look! Can we go?" she asked. Philby laughed a little "Of course."

Philby helped Willa get in the fairest wheel bench and then he slid into the spot next to her and lowered the safety bar. The fairest wheel stopped them at the very top and together Philby and Willa both stared at the setting sun. Philby glanced over at Willa and blushed.

"What?" Willa asked. Philby nervously laughed "Willa I have been to scared to tell you this but..." Philby paused and took a deep breath to calm his nerves "I like you…a lot" Willa bit her bottom lip to keep form laughing. "Philby…I like you too." Philby leaned closer to Willa and gently kissed her. The kiss went on longer then both of them thought. When they pulled away both of them were breathing heavily. Philby wrapped his arm around Willa's shoulders and smiled. Willa laid her head down and Philby's shoulder and smiled enjoying the moment.

After they climbed off the fairest wheel they both made their way hand in hand towards to front gate. "Where have you too been?" Maybeck asked in a mischievous voice. "Awe!" Charlene gushed "You two look so cute together!" Philby and Willa both blushed and immediately let go of each others hand. The rest of the Kingdom Keepers laughed. Willa laughed too "Can this night get any better?" she thought.

Sorry guys I know this isn't very good my mind went blank toward the end and I know the ending is very bad too. I will try to do a better one soon!
