Uncle Chewie
Kylo Ren was not having a good day. First, a prisoner, a mere scavenger, had turned his mind reading abilities back onto him. Then, when he was sent to bring her to the Supreme Leader, he had found that she had escaped from her cell. This, however, was the hardest thing he'd ever done today, and in his entire life up till now.
He had just murdered Han Solo.
He had just murdered his father.
Then, immediately after, he heard these words screamed from his adoptive uncle.
"Stop hurting our family!"
Even as he realized that the Shyriiwook form of "our" that he'd used had included Kylo himself as family, he felt a hand rest on his face for a moment. His father, in his final moment, had reached out to him. The look on his face was of intense pain, but even then, he still cared.
Then he fell.
The Mighty Chewbacca roared once more. "Get out of here, Ben!" he shouted, even as he fired a low-powered shot with his bowcaster at him. Kylo felt intense pain in his side. He knew how good a shot Chewbacca was with his bowcaster, and that he could have vaporized his head if he'd wanted to. The best copilot in the galaxy then moved on to mow down his men, screaming obscenities at them and accusing them of turning Ben to the Dark Side.
Then, as Chewbacca turned a corner, everything exploded around him. He then knew why the wookiee had told him to leave. He'd rigged the place to blow!
As Kylo rushed through the corridors leading outside as best as he could with his injury, fully aware of the building exploding around him, a large, fuzzy hand entered his view. Startled, he winced, knowing what a wookiee could do to a man with their bare hands. To his surprise, however, all he felt was his hair being ruffled.
Opening his eyes, he looked to see not a killer of stormtroopers or a destroyer of empires, but a giver of piggyback rides and hugs, a deliverer of treats and toys, but most importantly, his uncle.
"Uncle Chewie..." he breathed, becoming Ben Solo once more for an instant.
"I believe in you, Ben. I believe you will make the right choice and come back to us someday," the gentle giant said, before enveloping the aspiring sith in a hug that took him off the floor and rushing down a hallway leading outside as flames flew around them.
As they escaped the building, Chewbacca flung the boy aside, leaping up a tree and out of view, probably headed to the Millennium Falcon, just as a gout of fire and heat exploded from their exit point. Kylo Ren was back by this point, but Ben Solo was gaining strength, and would not give up anytime soon.
