Just a really quick oneshot because my school had a valentines day dance last night. The dancing that Gabriel and Dean do actually happened there and it was officially the most awkward and funny thing I have ever seen. Sorry for the crappy writing.

Castiel had no idea why he had agreed to go to the dance. Well, he did, but letting Jo and Charlie drag him into the crowded auditorium was not his best plan. The white dress shirt he was wearing was itchy and tight, and the blue tie was choking him.

"Come on Cas, Dance!" Jo shouted at him above the music.

"I would rather not," the blond haired girl rolled her eyes, "You and Charlie are enjoying your selves don't worry about me,"

Jo disappeared back into the sea of sheathing bodies leaving Castiel alone on the wall once again. From the other side of the room he thought he saw Dean Winchester and Gabriel doing a rather inappropriate dance. The blue eyed teen crossed the room to get a closer look.

The two were in the middle of a group of girls including Meg Masters, Ruby, and Charlie. Dean was on his hands and feet his back towards the ground like he was doing the crab walk, in between Gabriel's legs. Gabriel, Castiel's own brother was doing the worst dance he had ever seen while Dean was thrusting his pelvis upward underneath him.

It didn't last long before Ms. Harvelle came and told them off for doing such an inappropriate dance. Everyone evolved was laughing and Meg was jokingly asking how much she would have to pay to get them to dance at her birthday party. Dean suggested the addition of handcuffs and cop outfits.

Castiel turned an angry shade of red and went back to his spot on the wall, several songs went by as the dark haired teen tried to rid his mind of the image.

He'd gone and gotten a drink twice when 100 Years started playing. Charlie found a girl to dance with right off and Jo went to watch from the side lines.

Once again Castiel saw Dean from across the dance floor this time however this time he wasn't dancing he was looking right at him. A small smile spread across the green eyed teens face as he made his way across the floor.

"Hey Cas," he said quietly rubbing the back of his neck, "Do you want to dance?" Dean's eyes were trained on the floor.

"Sure." Dean's face lit up and he dragged the other boy out into the center out the dancing couples.

Dean put his hands on Castiel's hips so the shorter boy put his on Dean's shoulders. They swayed for a while until Jo ran into them pushing them closer. Dean's freckled cheeks were stained with pink, somehow Cas took it in stride and put his arms around the blond haired boys neck.

"Why?" he asked after a moment.

"What?" Dean seemed to have been shook out of his thoughts by the question.

"Why did you ask me to dance? Any girl here would have said yes and this may get you made fun of. Why?"

Dean laughed nervously, "Cause I don't want to dance with any of the girls here." he looked down. "But I do want to dance with you."

Castiel cocked his head to the side, "Would it not have made sense, then to ask me to go with you to the dance?"

"I was nervous, what if you said no?" he mumbled. "Then everyone would have seen."

The next day at school Castiel was getting his books out of his locker when the freckled teen came up behind him "Cas?"

"Yes Dean?"

"Would you want to go out sometime, to like the movies or dinner or something?" Dean was pink again.

"I think that would be most enjoyable," was his only reply before he rushed off to his first class.

What do you think?
