14AmyChan: I was in the middle of English Class when I wrote this, and Web Design when I typed it out~! *^_^*

Soul: So, you're practically skipping out on your classes to write?

14AmyChan: nope, I'm just a fast worker~! *^_^*

Tomorrow was a big test. He knew how she got when things like this happened. She'd lock herself in her room and study and study until she finally went to sleep.

Likewise, he was in his room. Studying, but not as hard as she did. In the background was some jazz to help him concentrate. It was cool, just like him.

After a couple hours of hard work, Soul leaned back in his chair, his brain practically fried. How does she do all of this…? Soul wondered. Now stricken with curiosity, he turned off his stereo and walked out into the hall. He was instantly grateful that Blaire was out working instead of here to give him a nosebleed.

Speaking of working, Soul made it to her room. He paused for a moment to see if he could hear the ever-present scratching of her pencil. Except the fact that there was no noise coming from her room. Weird… Soul thought as he placed his hand on the doorknob and slowly turned it open. Is she actually taking a break?

When the door finally swung open, Soul saw her sitting at her desk, fast asleep. Soul sighed and walked in her room. Resisting the nagging urge to pull out his cell phone and nab some pictures of her like this, Soul simply shook her shoulder to try and wake her up. A sigh. "Maka, what am I going to do with you?" Soul asked the sleeping girl. As if in a response to his own question, Soul picked Maka up and carried her to her bed. There, he put her down and placed her blankets on top of her. Then, he turned to the door and was about to turn out the light when something caught his eye. A picture placed next to the latest postcard from Maka's mom.

It was a snapshot from when Soul tried to teach Maka how to play basketball. He could tell because he was holding a basketball far out of the reach of a red-faced yelling Maka. She was trying so hard to get the ball out of his hands that, when the picture was taken, Soul was splitting his side laughing.

The memory didn't seem so significant, just another day with Maka. Yet, Soul could feel himself smile as he turned off her bedroom light and chuckle "So uncool…" As Soul walked down the hall back to his room, he decided that he would study for just a little bit longer before turning in.

14AmyChan: Well, that's it~! *^_^*

Soul: That was short, and so uncool…

14AmyChan: but the fangirls loved it…

Fangirls: SOUL! YOU ARE SO COOL!

Soul: I don't care about fangirls…

Fangirls: awwww…

14AmyChan: Whatever, just please review~! *^_^*
