I lie down for one minute before there's a knock on the door. I groan, thinking it's Jason but when the door opens, it's Annabeth.
"Hey," she says lying down next to me on my bed.
"Hey," I say back. She gets under the comforter and snuggles up against me, I put my arm around her waist. We just lay there, in each other's warmth.
I'm about to fall asleep when I here my name being whispered like falling snow.
"Percy?" Annabeth says. I turn to face her and she kisses me. Her lips taste sweet against mine and her lips are smooth, but then I notices something: she's trembling.
"Annabeth, are you okay?"
"Yea," she says, lying her head on my chest, a few seconds later a small drop of water hits my shirt and seeps through my shirt like ink, she's crying.
I sit up and envelope her in a hug. I know she scared. I'm scared to death for her myself, I can't lose her again. I lost her for six months, I wouldn't live with myself if…
/Stop it Percy/
/But I CAN'T lose her/
/she has to do this quest it's her destiny/
/NO. I'm her destiny, and she is mine. No matter what the Fates have in mind for us/
"Percy… I love you," Annabeth says then kisses me,and I kiss her back. I pull her back down on the bed so we are lying down. We keep on kissing.
I kiss her on her forehead then just lie down and hold her until her breathing slows to a steady pace.
I match my breathing with hers and eventually fall asleep.
We wake with a start to the CLANG-CLANG of the landing gears and realize, WE'VE done it again! Another time when we were just talking and we feel asleep.
There's a knock on my door and Jason's head peeks out, his blues eyes glistening with excitement,"Hey, man, you're… in the same bed with Annabeth…I'll just…" he says while starting to walk out the door.
"It's the same situation as last time," I scream through the closed door.
"Yeah sure it is!" Jason yells from down the hall way.
