Fireworks exploded from outside as Patch shut the farmhouse door and dragged me to the stairs. My legs felt numb and weak as being zapped by electricity every second he touched my body. "My legs," I murmured as his tongue slightly licked my neck. "I can't feel my legs."
He gave me a cocky smile and brushed his mouth against my ear, "You won't need them tonight Angel."
I shivered from pleasure as he placed his hands around my thighs and wrapped my legs around his lower back, bringing me closer and closer to my bedroom.
Mum was out working despite the fact that it was New Year's Eve but I couldn't help but grin at the fact that Patch and I were all alone, for the whole weekend.
He flung the door open and settled me on my bed, leaning over my body. Slipping his hands under my shirt gave me a sudden pleasure as his palm warmed my skin. Desire washed through me and I slipped my hands over his back and finally, over his wing scars.
A flash of white brought me back into his memories showing me the time when Rixon was still alive and still friends with Patch. They were sitting in my favourite café watching over two girls leaning over the counter. One had reddish brown hair flowing up to her waist (Sorry my friend has my book so I have no idea which café or how long her hair is!) with extreamly long legs and the other one had honey blonde hair (Again sorry can't remember what her colour hair is :P Feel free to REVIEW and tell me!) slightly chubbier than the red head. I quickly realised that those two girls were me and my best friend Vee before Patch and I met.
My vision changed and filled with the worried expression of my boyfriend as he took my hands away from his scars and held them close to his chest.
"Not now Angel, you don't need to know that." He said slowly smiling.
"Why did you have a memory of me and Vee at the café before we ever met? And if you were sitting so close to us then why can't I or Vee remember you?"
"Oh Nora, I knew you before I even enrolled in your school! And something tells me you already know the answer to the other question."
The annoying truth was that, I did know, even though I didn't want to. I pulled slightly away from him absorbing the information. "You mind tricked me. You made me forget you were ever there! You promised you would never do that to me again!"
He looked down at his hands and smiled, "Yes, but that was before I fell in love with you.
"Come on Angel, forget about it! The important thing is that we're together now for New Year's and everything is exactly where it's supposed to be."
I looked up into his dark eyes and told myself that this discussion wasn't over, then flung my arms around him and pressed my lips against his.
And it was pretty much the best New Year of my life.
