No spoilers, I don't think.
"No. You don't get to kiss me like that anymore, Emma. We can't just start over."
"Why not?"
"You didn't get to see the look on Henry's face every time he hid under the bed during our fights. You always stormed out."
"I didn't 'storm' out-"
"You'd leave! You always left. In the end you just…. left." Regina sighed, her lower lip trembling. "We can't do this again. I can't do it again. You asked me if we could ever start over, and no… I think you should leave." Regina turned away and leaned forward on the counter top for support.
I don't ever want to leave again. Please." Regina felt arms slip around her waist. "We always fought just as hard as we loved each other, and baby we were strong together. I want to fight for us, Regina. I want to fight forever because I know it is worth fighting for. Please…"
Regina brought the fingertips of her right hand to her eyes to stop the tears that had begun to fall. "Emma, I-" She stopped speaking and shook her head, forcing the memories of their time together away. "I'm- I'm- I can't, Emma. Please…. leave."
Emma, stunned by Regina's words, loosened her grip and stood up straighter as her chest swelled. "You're giving up?" she asked in a smaller voice. She watched as Regina's body inflated with her shaky intake of air.
"Yes. I gave up."
