"Moss!Get down from there now!"Snow the Glaceon yelled. "Leafeons are not meant to climb trees!".
"But what about the kite?" asked Moss from atop the tall the tree.
"Forget the stupid kite! You'll only end up hurting yourself!" Snow called from below.
"Hold on… almost… got it…" Moss grunted as he stretched his paw out toward the red kite in front of him. "Whoa!" cried out Moss as he almost fell off the branch.
Snow gasped "Moss!"
"Don't worry, I'm okay!" Moss called from above. 'She seems really worried about me…' Moss thought to himself. 'Heh, might as well have some fun with this.'.
"Uh- Oh, I'm falling!" Moss said, fakely, while pretending to fall off.
"Puh-lease, do you really think I'd fall for that?" Snow said to him, rolling her eyes.
"My life is flashing before my eyes!" Moss said continuing his act.
Snow sweat-dropped 'Why do I always fall for the idiots?' she thought.
As Moss continued his foot snagged a twig sticking out of the branch and slipped off. "WAAH!" he shouted as he fell.
"MOSS!" Snow shouted.
Before Moss could get too far from the tree he used the giant leaf protruding from his head to catch himself, and started to laugh.
"You should have seen the look on your face!" Moss said still laughing. "Did you really think I let myself fall?".
Snow, shaking from rage, yelled, "THAT WASN'T FUNNY, MOSS! YOU ALMOST SCARED ME TO DEATH! YOU MAKE ME SO MAD!" and with that she turned around and started to walk away.
"Stupid Moss, scaring me like that. And to think I actually like him." Snow muttered to herself.
"Oh Arceus, that was so funny!" Moss said, still hanging from the branch. "Now, how do I get myself down…" he said to himself before feeling himself slip for real this time.
"Oh Crap! SNOW! SNOW! HELP! I'M REALLY FALLING THIS TIME!" He shouted at the retreating back of his friend.
'Oh my Arceus, does he really think that will work again?' Snow thought.
As she tuned around to yell at him to shut up, she saw the expression on his face. Pure terror.
"AHHHH!" Moss yelled as he plummeted towards the forest floor.
"BLIZZARD!" Snow yelled. The forest then became covered with thick, white snow.
"UMPH!" Moss cried as he hit the snow.
"MOSS! MOSS! ARE YOU OKAY" Snow shouted, running over to the spot where he fell.
Snow took a sharp intake of breath and her vision started to blur by the tears starting to form in her eyes as she saw the Leafeon sprawled out in the snow, eyes closed.
"No…Please… You can't be dead…There are so many things left unsaid… I didn't even get to say that I… love you.".
Snow, no longer able to talk, stood there and let the tears fall from her face.
"I knew you loved me!" Moss said, grinning, perfectly fine.
"Wha- Moss! You're alive!" cried Snow.
"Of course I'm alive! You didn't think that a mere fall from forty feet up could kill me, did you?" Moss asked, still smiling.
"So you're perfectly okay?" Snow asked, her tears starting to slow down.
"Yep!"
"In that case… I'M GONNA WRING YOUR LITTLE YELLOW-" she was cut off by Moss pressing his lips against hers, briefly, before pulling away.
"W-Why did you do that?" Snow asked him, stunned from the sudden kiss.
"Because, I love you too." Moss told her before kissing her again, passionately, with Snow kissing him back.
