Hey, this is my first story. Hope you guys like it.

Jason: 15 years old

Young Justice: Brother or Foe

Chapter one: Death in the Family

The original seven members of the League and the team were gathered at Mount Justice, where they all received terrible news. Batman had called all of them to come to Mount Justice.

"Why'd you call us all here, Bats?" Flash asked in his usual cheery voice.

Batman's only response was lowering a dead body to the ground. It wasn't just anyone's body. It was Jason Todd's body. As soon as Robin saw Jason's dead body, he ran to him. He knelt down to his older brother's body, tears started coming from his mask. Everyone, besides Batman, was surprised to see Robin cry. They had never seen him cry. Ever.

"No! Jason, you can't die! You promised you would always be there for me! No, please, Jason! Wake up! Stop joking around, Jay! This isn't funny!"Robin yelled over his dead brother's body.

"Robin, stop it. He's gone. There's nothing you can do about it," Batman told Robin, sternly.

Everyone was horrified and shocked about Jason's death. They were even more shocked by Robin's reaction. No one had the courage to ask what happened. They were all frozen in fear. All of them wondering ' What happened? ' and ' Who could do this? '

"What happened?" Super-man finally asked in a faint voice lined with shock and worry. His eyes were wide with shock.

Batman faced all of them. "Jason and I had a fight. Jason being the reckless boy he is, went to fight Joker by himself. I was too late in saving him. Joker beat Jason to death with a crowbar and then blew up the warehouse. Killing Jason in the progress, " Batman explained.

"I can't believe you," Robin whispered. He was still kneeling by his dead brother's body.

"Robin, that's the …" Batman started, but was interrupted.

"No!" Robin yelled at Batman as he stood up. Suddenly, he was feeling angry at his mentor. Everyone was awestruck. Robin never yelled at Batman. It was Jason and Batman who always yelled at each other. "I can't believe you're criticizing Jason, even when he's dead!" Robin screamed at Batman. His voice filled with anger and hate and a hint of sadness.

"Robin," Batman said in warning tone.

"Don't 'Robin' me. You think I didn't know! You always compared me to him!" Robin yelled at Batman. Then, he looked at everyone else. "All of you!"Robin glared at all of them.

"Hey! We didn't do anything!" Wally AKA Kid Flash protested.

Don't start, Wally. I thought we were best friends, but I guess I was wrong. You and the team, and the League called him names, brushed him aside, and gave him the cold shoulder. Everyone of you is to blame. When I found out, I was ready to raise hell! Jason stopped me. He didn't want me to ruin my friendship with any of you," Robin said. His voice softened and he said, "A lot of you have told me I forgive too easily. I give too many second chances. But this is something , I'll never forgive any of you for."

"But, Robin, he replaced you," Megan said, looking hurt. She looked like she was going to cry, but Robin didn't care.

"Replaced me! He didn't replace me. Batman needed me at Gotham full time, since he and Jason couldn't get along. I offered Jason to take my spot on the team. I can't believe you're accusing my older brother of replacing me. I'm done explaining." With that Robin ran to the Zeta Tubes. He turned around and said, "I hate you all!" Then he ran into the Zeta Tubes.

"Robin B-01,"the machine announced his departure. Everyone was in shock of what Robin just said.

"What just happened?" Artemis asked. Everyone was wondering the same thing.
