The Proposal

ERICS POV

I am the luckiest guy in the world!

We were at Per Se having a very nice meal. We were talking about how much we loved being with each other, when I told Calleigh, "I love you more than anything in the world."

I stopped eating, got down on one knee, grabbed Calleigh's hand, and started talking, "Calleigh you are the best gift God could have ever given to a person. I was lucky enough that you came my way. I love you more than words can express. Whenever I am with you, see you, or even hear you name my heart skips a beat and I get butterflies in my stomach, and I think how luck I am to have the most wonderful person in the world by my side. I love how we can tell each other everything and anything. I love waking up and you be there because no matter what you are the most beautiful woman I have ever and will ever see. You are the reason I wake up in the morning. You are the reason I love going to work. Basically you are the reason why I live. You are my everything." I paused and could see tears streaming down Calleigh's cheeks. I reached into my pocket and got out the black velvet box. I looked at Calleigh and asked, "Will you marry…please?"

As I was asking her, I opened the box and inside was a 14K White Gold 1 Carat t.w. 3-stone Leo Diamond Ring. I looked up and saw that she was surprised, but when I looked into her eyes and all I saw was love. Calleigh had a that wonderful smile on her face that I love so much and she said in her beautiful southern accent, "Yes of course!" I put the ring on her finger and then we both stood up. We hugged and then we share d a sweet kiss when we started to hear clapping, they realized that the attention was on us, when I saw tears in the eyes I realized that the attention was on us when I started talking. We both started to blush when everyone came up to congratulate us and tell us that we were cute together. After we thanked them we went home, snuggled on the couch, and watched a movie.

That was one of the best nights of my life.
