AN: So I've had this song/opera/thingy on continuous play on my ipod/itunes for a while now, and I suddenly wanted to make a fic following/based on it. I personally believe Greece/Japan fit this best…

Disclaimer: I own neither Hetalia nor the song this is based on~

Enjoy!

At some point in their relationship, after some amount of months, but before some amount of years, Kiku began to wonder. They were lying in Heracles' backyard, looking up at the stars, at the moon. There were several cats surrounding them, though most were either asleep or merely stretching, looking with them at the sky. And Kiku, lying next to Heracles, who was awake, but silent, was wondering.

"H-Heracles?"

"Mm?"

"Do you love me?"

"Of course, I love you." He responded sleepily.

Kiku blushed and looked down to his lap. They continued to stay in the position, silence beside the light chirping of insects and purring of the cats. Until Kiku's voice broke the silence again.

"Heracles?"

"Mm?"

"H-how much do you love me?"

Heracles looked down surprised, coming upon the sight of the Japanese man with his eyes clamped shut and his fingers gripping at air. He smiled lightly and looked up at the sky. "How much do I love you?" he stretched out his arm, as if trying to rearrange the stars with his fingertip. "Count the stars in the sky," His hand moved to gesture to the aquamarine waters a few meters away. "Measure the waters of the ocean with a teaspoon, number the grains of sand on the sea shore." He turned to Kiku, his relaxed and loving smile stuck in place. "Impossible, you say? Yes, and it is just as impossible to say how much I love you." He shifted again, this time pulling Kiku into his arms as he gazed up at the sky. "My love for you is higher than the heavens, deeper than Hades, and broader than the earth. It has no limits, no bounds. Everything must have an ending, except my love for you."

Kiku by now was blushing furiously, and he looked down before looking back up. Once more he asked Heracles something.

"Heracles?"

"Mm?"

Kiku blushed and stammered incoherently before mumbling, "Kiss me?"

Heracles said nothing, only grasping Kiku by the waist and gently pressing his warm lips onto Kiku's.

At some point that day, after some amount of minutes, but before some amount of hours, lying beside Heracles in his backyard, amidst the ancient ruins, beneath the stars and beside the sea, Kiku whispered to his sleeping lover a single sentence.

"I love you too."

And so they lay, their bodies touching in the moonlight, their love so strong they needed no words, silently embracing each other.

So if you know the opera this is from, it will be pretty obvious, but if you don't you most likely won't guess…

And yes, I did change the details a bit, but the actual speech I believe is the same.

If you know(or even if you don't~) it please review~
