Angels Love

Prologue

"Little Lotte let her mind wander. Little Lotte thought, 'Am I fonder of dolls, or of goblins, or shoes? Ah, of riddles or frocks, of picnics in the attic, or chocolates? Of father playing the violin as I read by the fireside?'"

"'But no.what I like best,' Lotte said, 'Is when I'm asleep in my bed, and the Angel of Music sings songs in my head. The Angel of Music sings songs in my head."

We've all heard the story. Of little, naïve, innocent, Lotte. Thinking of nothing but the material things in life and the memories she made, always longing for her angel of music. Christine, mirroring Lotte, got her angel of music, but he wasn't the real angel, as the story goes. No, Christine never met the real angel of music. But like the love stories of our past go she fell in love with another, her prince charming straight from her childhood. And so the cliché story repeats itself, added to another and another forming the never ending cycle of old romances with only a few quirks to make it unique…but there was still the forgotten angel, no angel, but a man. A man shunned by society to live in torture that would warp him from man…to angel…to self-loathing demon. His chances of love gone he now mourns his losses in solitude…the story of the Phantom of the Opera and his lost love.

But what none knew was that the Angel of Music. The real one was busy attending to his new charge. A girl left without her family, friends, her heart, and her hope. A girl much like Christine, but she had no childhood friend who would one day sweep her off her feet. Only the promise that tomorrow would most likely bring death. When someone looks in on a person like that they cannot help but either pity them, or slap them into reality to show them there's more. And that's what this angel did for this forlorn girl. He was able to bring her out of the shadows and into the light.

However with a broken life it's not easy to repair the damage done. Her story is one of hard choices stemmed from the opinion of others. A story of love that most only dream of, but never feel in their lives. Anger that burns you to the core, and washes you clean. This story is her journey from being a simple girl to a woman that faced the unknown and came out strong. Welcome to the story of a girl who met the angel of music…and the scarred angel that was simply a man waiting for a chance to be free. Two broken souls, one guardian angel…what can happen? What will it take for happiness to found? Step into their world and follow a journey that treads the line between reality and dreams.
