"So," Jake the Dog said, "Your story was alright, but a little weak. I got one that will scare anyone...or pony. Mine is called:"
-The Cursed Phantom Treasure of Old Miller's Hill-
"Many millinia ago during the Great Mushroom Wars, an old leader knew that soon all of humanity as he knew it would cease to exist. What he did next was the unexpected, he took all the gold and silver out of the nation's treasury and buried it on his childhood homestead. You see, he grew up the son of saw millers and had their very own saw mill and mill houses on the vast property. He did it under the cover of darkness so no one could see him. When he was finished, he built a plain, simple, 1 story building that had a front door and 2 windows on each wall. Well, years later the old ruler passed in that very building but before he died, he placed a curse on the building and it's hidden treasure. The legend said that whoever hits the house will win the treasure out right. Year after year, kids tried hitting the house with rocks just as kids like to do, but they noticed something odd. No matter how straight they threw the rock, they could not hit the building. Various methods were used, from slingshots to modified RPGs, but nothing seemed to work. There have even been reports of the rock literally landing at the thrower's feet as if they simply dropped it. Finally, someone did the unthinkable, they hit the building. Before they knew it, the ground trembled beneath their feet and a large crack in the Earth formed in front of the house. An eerie green glow formed in it and a strong sulfer smell filled his nose. He heard a voice call out to him "Well done, now come claim your reward" it said in a ghastly tone. At first, he was hesitant, but since had done what seemed like the impossible, he slowly made his way towards the crack, the sulfer smell becoming so overbearing on his nostrils that he had told his breath, When he got to it, a more potent smell enters his nose, the smell of rotten burning flesh, making him want to turn tail and run but he wanted his treasure so he peered in. When he did, the sight horrified him, he was staring into the deeepest layer of the Nightosphere, phantom screams of the damned rung his ears as a being rose up to him holding a chest made of mother of pearl. "This is my treasure, you earned it for hitting the house, but it comes at a price." As soon as it siad those words, the poor lad doubled over in pain as his body suddently burst into flames, leaving his ghostly soul standing there. The being spoke again, "My curse is now lifted, but since you now own the treasure, you now have the curse that comes with it...ta-ta." It then vanished as the poor lad was drug down into the Nightosphere, where he remains to this day, waiting for the next unfortunate person to take his place. The lesson is this, be careful what you wish for and don't be greedy, for you will get what you want in a way you do not want it. The End"
A few in the group were so scared that they were huddled together
"Hold on a second," Timmy Turner said, how do you know exactly what went down?"
"Notice Finn isn't here with me..." Jake said as tears formed in his eyes and reality hit the group, making them all cry as well
"Sorry I asked, and sorry to hear what happened." Timmy slowly replied
"It is alright man, will you go next?"
"I will since I made you feel bad" Timmy answered
