Disclaimer: I do not own Blood and Chocolate. The lovely, Annette Curtis Klause does.
Night Prowl
Darkness envelopes the cloudy sky
Cars are filled with passers-by
Everyone rushes here and there
Ignoring the silent wolves' empty lair
They hunt with vengeance for the rabbit
Harsh and bitter; that's their habit
They follow a path left by the moon
Listening to their ancestors tune
Then in the distance the neighbors hear
A blood-chilling howl and shake with fear
They lock their doors and bundle tight
Inside their home filled with darkness from night
They rouse their children and bring them close
And pray to God for an angelic host
To keep them safe inside their home
When wolves are out and free to roam
This was actually a poem that I had to write for school, but I thought it fit with B&C so I said, what the heck! And posted it! Please review! I would like it very much if you did!!
