Disclaimer: I do not own the Labyrinth or any of its characters
Sarah awoke on her fluffy, white bed in her room. Was it all a dream? She asked to herself. Then it hit her" Toby!" She exclaimed. Sarah raced to her little brothers room to find that he was tucked in bed and fast asleep. Sarah silently walked out of the room and thought, the labyrinth couldn't have been real could it? When she arrived at the door to her room Sarah heard the front door open and a booming voice call "Sarah we re home!"
"Did you have a good time?" Sarah asked her dad as she came down the stairs to meet them.
"Of course," Karen replied matter of factly. Sarah's dad hung up his and Karens' coat then looked at his daughter.
"What?" Sarah asked getting frightened
"You look different then when we left." Her dad said in deep thought.
"I'm just tired that's all. Actually now that your home im gonna go to bed. Toby's asleep so don't worry about him." Her dad kissed her softly on the cheek and watched as she slumped back up the stairs towards her room.
"Did you notice anything different about Sarah?" He asked his wife.
"I think you've just had one to many drinks. Come on lets go to bed." Karen said starting up the stairs to her room. Bob followed her then stopped when he came to Sarah's room. He looked at the wooden door, shrugged off whatever was on his mind then entered the bedroom Karen and he shared.
When Sarah entered her room she was surprised to see her light was on. ' That's funny, I don't remember leaving the light on.' she thought to herself. Sarah walked to her small table and noticed the stuffed animal of Sir Didymus. Sarah then picked it up, looked at it and stuffed it into her desk drawer. She did the same with the Labyrinth puzzle, fiery doll, and the dancing figurine. But when Sarah picked up the porcelain figure of Jareth she smiled. Even IF she dreamed up the Labyrinth and it was all pretend, she could still believe he was real. Sarah shut the desk drawer and placed the figure on top of her desk.
After changing into her favorite silk nightgown Sarah shut her light off and crawled into bed. Right as she was falling asleep Sarah thought she glimpsed a barn owl land on the tree outside her window.
