Hello everyone! This is my first anime fanfic on here. I used to write carton stories for Gorillaz, but now I'm going to try anime . Hope you enjoy!

Chihiro sighed abruptly as she looked out the window next to her. Beautiful day it was. Too bad she had to spend it in school. Lucky there was only a week of freshman high school left. She had grown quiet a lot. Her hair was no longer in a pony tail, but straitened and it fell past her shoulders, her chest had grown out and she had grown taller. Lately, mostly during math, her thoughts trailed off to the time she had been stuck in the Spirit World, remembering Yubaba's selfish commands, living with Lin, and of course, her first love, Haku. She sometimes wished she never met him. The pain in her heart was too much. But other times, she was happy to know that someone really cared for her besides her family. She sighed.

"Haku…" she said a little too loud.

Her classmates and teacher turned to her. Her eyes meet the class. She blushed out of embarrassment. The teacher furrowed his thick eyebrows. Chihiro gulped.

"Do you have something to share with the rest of us Miss Chihiro?" he asked.

Chihiro shook her head. One of the girls giggled.

"Good. Back to the lesson. What is 86 to the power of-" RIIIIING!

Dismissal.

The kids packed there things and filed out one by one. As Chihiro was about to leave, a boy with dark brown hair and dark blue eyes stopped her. He smiled and she smiled back.

"Hi, Chihiro." he said nervously.

"Oh…hey Yasuo." she replied.

"Ummm…I was wondering. If your not doing anything Friday, do you want to come to the movies with me?" he asked nervously.

Chihiro smiled.

"Thanks but, I can't. Family business. Maybe another time?" she answered.

Yasuo frowned.

"Oh, ok. I understand. I'll see you tomorrow then." He replied sadly.

"Ok. Bye!" and she left.

She walked home today instead of taking the bus. It was too nice out for that. This was probably the first time walking home for her. She sighed. On her way home, she noticed something. The 'shortcut' road her dad took to get to there new house when she moved into this town. Her eyes widened. Should she take it? She was. She started down the road until she came to the same to the small demon statue and the dark tunnel she was once afraid of. She dropped her back pack and proceeded in. It seemed the path was shorter then last time. But she didn't mind, she just kept going until she came to the large field. She stopped. Far up ahead was the opening to the Spirit World. The same place her dad called the 'old amusement park'. She ran across the field huffing and puffing. She started to cry remembering everyone she left behind in the Spirit World. Faster, faster until…

"AHH!" she fell into a ditch. She sighed.

"Damnit." She cursed.

"Need a hand?" asked a familiar female voice.

Chihiro froze. Could it really be? Was it really her? She looked up. It was Lin(In Japan, her name was really Rin, but we all know her as Lin). Chihiro started to cry a little.

"LIN!" she hugged her tight.

"Lin! I missed you. Where is everyone?" she asked.

"I missed you too Se-I mean Chihiro. Everyone is still here. You can't see them remember?" she told her.

"But…how come I can see you?" she asked.

"It's a new job. I have to keep a lookout for intruders. If anyone comes, I stop them. What are you doing here?" she asked.

"Well, I wanted see everyone again. I missed you all." She told her sadly.

Lin smiled.

"We missed you too. Come on, let's get something to eat."

Chihiro nodded.

"Lets."

Ok. Chapter one is done. I hope you liked it so far.
