Disclaimer: I don't own teen titans!!! *SOB*
For some reason I've been in an angsty mood. Maybe all the lifetime(don't own them!) movies my mother has been making me watch have something to do with it.
Raven's feelings on Terra joining the team and of becoming 'Nevermore'. If you look at it in a certain light BBxRae at the end. Inspired by reading 'The Raven' By Poe (don't own him either!)
'Quoth the raven 'Nevermore'
//////////--------------\

Raven closed her book and used her powers to levitate it back to its proper shelf. Laying back in her bed, she thought about the things that had happened lately.
Terra had recently joined the titans, and had taken up all of Beast Boy's attention. Don't get her wrong, he annoyed the crap out of her, but she missed his persistence, always trying to get a smile by telling his lousy jokes.
In fact the whole team seemed to have given up on her. Star had stopped her daily requests to go to the 'mall of shopping', Robin had stopped trying to get her to talk after jailing bad-guys, and Cy had stopped inviting her to help him fix the T-car.
Her team was deserting her, and it was time to face the facts. She had given up on herself long ago, and now that her only friends were giving up on her, she felt as if she were fading into the background. Like the poem said, she would become 'Nevermore'.
Maybe it was better to just end it all now, rather then burden her friends with herself any longer.
She looked at her bed side table, which had a small, gothic dagger sitting on the polished surface. She took a deep breathe and reached for the dagger, but a knock on the door stopped her.
"Raven? It's Beast Boy, do you want to come play a game a stankball with me and Cy?"
She smlied slightly. Maybe, just Maybe not everybody had given up on her. Maybe, just Maybe she wasn't fading as fast as she thought.
"Yes Beast Boy, I would."
Kind of dark but a happy ending. Please review! And that symbol is supposed to look like a dagger, but that is the best I could do with a keyboard.
