But Serah choose to continue her journey, despite learning that she would die herself if she continues seeing visions of the future, Serah resolve to change the future for everyone's sake. Noels gratefully accepts her decision her choice and fights along with her for the change of the future
Soon after returning to their own time, Happily Serah and Noel stands face to face.
*Noel stares Serah into the eyes as she slowly begins to speak"
Serah: "Noel, I lo-…"
Serah has one last vision. Unable to control herself, Noel screams out her name and soon Serah collapse But Noel quickly grabs her before she falls lifeless to the ground.
Before his eyes, He watched the only person he cared about die in front of him. There was no use but careless hold her in his arms.
"I thought she was safe" trying not to choke in tears
Serah suddenly awakes from her slumber sleep and finds herself in a world she never seen before. Flowers surrounds her, the atmosphere is so peacefully. Feels like Heaven. But alone.
From above, she watches Noel struggling to maintain himself. Blaming himself for her own death. Serah try to reconnect to Noel but her lifeless soul couldn't budge to let him know she's still here. Still watching from the heavens above.
But she doesn't hesitate. She runs for miles. Traveling deep within her little paradise. Then a small gateway opens. Without a thought she runs towards the light and soon realize she'll see's Lightning and Noel.
At that Lightning, who soon learns that her little sister was killed.
Shutting the world, leaving everything & everyone behind her. In addition, replays the memories she had with Serah. The laughter, joy & bond they had.
Suddenly spot a glimpse of Serah spirit right before her eyes. Speechless. Noel quickly looks at Lightning directions and as well sees her. Serah at last caught both of their attentions. Smiling peacefully at them but begging at them not fight anymore.
"S- Serah" Noel slowly moves toward her but stops as Lightning stands still, tear drops runs down her cheek
"Don't be sorry. And forget your tears, you don't need them" she says
"No matter what future is waiting for us, I'll have no regrets.
You both taught me how to live my life. No matter what, We shouldn't give up hope" she continues then smiles
"I have no regrets, none at all.. So it's okay. I don't mind that I'm gone" Slowly moves towards Noel and touches his cheek then stares at Lightning.
"No matter what happens to me, even if I vanish from this world. Please promise me, you'll remember me. Just keep me in your thoughts and we'll see each other again"
A shed of tear slowly falls as Serah slowly begins to fade and shortly disappear. Soon she returns back to her little paradise. But in her mind, She knows someday…someday She'll return to the world where she desperately belongs.
Meanwhile after witnessing Serah Spirits, Lightning and Noel had hope. Maybe she's not gone, what if there's a chance she'll be back. From different worlds, Lightning and Noel stares the sky beneath them hoping one day, We can reunite onces again.
"Your memory will survive for eternity within a crystal tomb. If we can laugh together just one more time, Well then.. I have nothing left to wish for" Lightning says as she smiles at the sky.
