A Simple Life
Chapter 1 - Yui Hirasawa
Disclaimer: I don't own K-On! This is going to be a very small mini series of stories that I wanted to put together. My try at T and under rated fanfics xD
Sunlight steadily and slowly rose over the lands of Japan.
Several traces of darkness and shade could be seen which would end up being shade patches for the rest of the day.
In this land there slept a girl.
A 16 year old who's primary happiness was other's happiness and cake...Alongside sweet things of course.
Yui Hirasawa is her name and rolled around in bed was her... "Moment" if you like.
Yui eventually started to wake up as the birds began to chirp. Happy that the Sun was out.
"Ugh..." Yui's voice was garbled, yet happy as she got up.
'That was a nice dream too...' Yui thought as she went about her morning routine of getting washed and dressed.
This was a life she loved. Nothing stressful...Nothing over the top...Just simplistic life.
Yui walked over to her dresser as she sorted out her relevant perfume and such forth.
I suppose I should explain a few things here. The school life is non-existent in Yui's world anymore.
Instead, there was an alternative way for her - The way of Naturing Beautiful People.
NBP are a new type of business that help people such as Yui to live as positive a life as possible (Covering bills and such), helping with their daily tasks, making sure they are fed and watered...That kind of thing.
Yui blinks. "I wonder if Azusa is awake yet..." She looks at her clock which reads: 06:00AM. She smiles to herself. "Not quite yet I bet. I'll call her later"
Heading outside Yui heads towards the park and when she got there she sat down on the swings.
Placing both hands on the metal rope-like material that held the swing in place, either side of her, she began to swing backward and forwards.
The fresh morning dew and crisp air filled her lungs as she smiled to herself.
Today was beautiful. Nothing was wrong. Nothing was GOING wrong...
It was good to be alive.
Sometimes one would and could consider the life Yui lived in to be...Ideal.
Yet for a lot of others they had to carry on as normal.
The way NBP worked was that they considered those who genuinely wouldn't be able to work properly in a work environment, commonly referred to as NEET'S (Not in Employment, Education or Training), to be special people. Special people in the sense that they experienced what everyone else couldn't...Explained what was going on through review sheets...
You could say that Yui was like a reviewer...But for life rather then for a specific thing.
"Yo! Yui!"
Yui looked over to Ritsu who was running over to her dressed in her school uniform.
"Hey Ritsu!"
Ritsu stopped and eyed Yui slowly. "What? Am I not your friend anymore?"
Yui jumped out of the swing, nearly did a cartwheel, and flew almost over Ritsu but managed to stay stood up (which was impressive).
"I'm sorry Ricchan! I really am!"
Ritsu sighed. "Fair enough...I'll let you go for today. Say...Aren't you supposed to be-"
Ritsu stopped when Yui put her hand up. "I've been selected for the NBP program Captain!"
Ritsu smiled but then it went to shock as she clicked as to what it was. "NBP!? You jammy thing!"
Yui smiled bashfully and put her foot in the ground like a schoolgirl...As in a young one. "Ehehehe"
Ritsu shook her head a few times. "Honestly Yui...Sometimes I just dunno with you"
Yui just giggled. "I'm gonna try to get Azusa in it...I can always try for you..."
Ritsu groaned. "What does that entail? You always drive a hard bar-"
"A year's no moaning at me! That or cake! A VERY BIG ONE!"
Ritsu sighed. "Like I said, sometimes I just don't know with you"
