When he opens his eyes, all he eyes is black.

When he tries to hear any noises or someone calling his name, all he here is silent.
Beep...
When he tries to lift his arms, he can't seem to lift them up.
Beep...
When he tries to move his legs, he can't seem to move them one inch.
Beep...
When he tries to call out, all he feels is that something is down his throat.
Beep...
When he tries to move his head, he feels nothing.
Beep...
When he tries to remember what happen, his mind is totally blank.

When he tries to remember who he is? No name comes to him.

When he tries to remember what he did last week, nothing.
Beep...
When he tries to remember what he did a month ago, he remembers, nothing.

When he tries to think about what he did his senior year, he remembers, nothing.

When he tries to think if he has any family, e can't remember if they are all dead or not?

Does he have a wife, girlfriend, best friend, coworkers? Once again, he has no answer.

After all that, his mind goes dark once more.

"Danny, you need to go home, take a shower and get some rest and spend some time with your daughter.. Gracie is missing her father and uncle. She wants to know when she can come to the ICU and visit her SuperSEAL," Chin tells him.

"You won't be any help to him, if you are in here yourself," replies Kono to his excuse.

"You need to freshen up so you'll be here when he needs you and us the most. And you need to call Catherine like you promise you would after you talked to the doctor," Chin pipes in.
