Crystal ice flew in sprays behind his feet as Harry took off running. The sun high above him head made the snow gleam with a fierce brightness and the trees were caked with dripping icing. When he caught a glint of red hair he fell to his knees and gathered fresh snow packing it into the palms of his hands.
Whack!
Ginny yelped in surprise when the snowball hit her from behind. Her mouth hung open with disbelief and astonishment, burst into a wide grin as she wrapped her arms around his neckÐand smushed his face into the snow.
