Perpetual youth

Tsuruga Ren was always the mature type of man, that's what fit his image the most: a mature, calm and kind hearted gentleman.

Hizuri Kuon, was much less bound by the standards of social gallantry, he was impulsive, quick to anger and surprisingly childish.

With age the man who is both, found himself to lean more towards his stage name's persona, he grew calmer and he even felt himself become …dull.

One might say it was due to the exhausting weight of his work, or something like that, but the truth is, he was simply getting older, aging…that's what it was all about.

At least that's what he had thought, until a certain hurricane of emotions stormed in his life, this particular hurricane, like most, had a name. Kyoko.

She was ,no matter how old she got, always a kid. Seriously, with her ever cheerful attitude, her stubbornness and her overly polite nature, furthermore, her youthful behavior was contagious, with a single smile, a mere playful look, she'd get you just as excited as she is.

With her, the notion of age seemed none existent, the belief of having to act according to a certain way that befits your age, suddenly becomes ridiculous, time stops and life becomes so vibrant, making you think there's only the two of you left in this world.

Even at eighty years old, when he watched her play with their grandchildren, he still thought that she is the incarnation of perpetual youth.

A/N: I really love how childish and ... bratty Ren acts around Kyoko, and how she brings out Kuon without even noticing, that's where the idea for this fanfic came from ^_^ please Review, and feel free to correct any mistakes!
