Sorry to all who thought I was gonna update my Huntik story, I just can't seem the shake off this horrible writers block, well that what this drabble is for. I was thinking of a huntik oneshot, but I can't seem to find the right words for it, grrr.

Anywho, this is my first Scooby Doo fanfic, I've been watching the What's New series and couldn't get this plotbunny outta my head, so I decided to do a drabble! Hope its enjoyable, though it is kinda (really) sappy and corny...so I apologize ahead of time.

Disclaimer: I do NOT own Scooby Doo, I wrote this story for pleasure and I do NOT gain any material thing form it like money. Nope, I'm doing this because I enjoy writing and Scooby Doo. So please don't sue, I am currentlybroke.

Of course they all had blood related family; parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc.

Of course they loved them.

How could they not? Those people were their family. However, family doesn't always refer to blood relatives. Family is defined by people that love each other, platonically or romantically.

They seemed like an almost impossible group; people from different ends of the social spectrum.

How could it be that four, almost, completely different people, and a dog, could come to know each so well?

Maybe it was the road trips; long hours spent driving down roads that would never end. Sharing a single van for hours in a wide range of temperatures, from obscenely hot when the air conditioner broke, to not-even-near-the-freezing-point even with the heater on full blast. Good and bad times were shared in that van, times where a song that they all enjoyed came on the radio and they'd all sing along with it, ignoring each other's lack of ability to sing. Sometimes tempers' would flare and regrettable comments would be spoken, but they would always be retracted and forgiven.

Or maybe it was the danger that came with their hobby. Solving mysteries came with the danger of varying villainous characters who often tried to make that meddle the last of the gang, any way that they could. Trying to scare them away was the most common, but others took a more lethal way of either trying to push them off large heights, or trying to freeze them, or trying to burn them, or even trying squashing them! Facing the danger of death is said to make life long comrades out of strangers.

From acquaintances, to friends, to family, none of them really thought about it. They trusted each other, they relied on each other, and they wouldn't have it any other way.

So in the end it didn't really matter if they weren't related by blood; they were, and always would be, a family.

Think It was to sappy? Yeah me too. :/

P/S: Spot any grammar mistakes? Please tell me so I can fix them! K thanks ;)
