So this is a brand new multi-chapter fiction. This is no way shape or form related to my other fiction "A Shadow's Night"
This is a sister fiction, and all will be revealed in the next couple chapters. I can tell you that this is Sodapop's twin sister. The rest will be revealed as we go through this.
This is to be seen as a prologue to set up the story and get people curious.
The song-bit is "Love the Way You Lie Part 2" By Rihanna. The lyrics of this song is very powerful, and serve as background for this prologue.
Disclaimer: I do not own "The Outsiders" By S.E. Hinton, nor do I own the song "Love the Way You Lie Part 2" By Rihanna.
Please read and review! Enjoy!
On the first page of our story
the future seemed so bright
then this thing turned out so evil
I don't know why I'm still surprised
Just gonna stand there and watch me burn
but that's all right because I like the way it hurts
just gonna stand there and hear me cry
but that's all right because I love the way you lie
Rihanna
She walked quietly down the long and narrow road. Only letting the full bright moon and the cruddy streetlights guide her way. It was a cool and crisp night, a light breeze in the air. It was unusually quiet for that area; there was normally always some noise, like a drag race, or a party. But tonight there was nothing, as if the entire world was just watching her.
She walked briskly, her hair just lightly moving with the wind. She continued down the street, once in a while looking around her surroundings. To make sure she wasn't being followed.
She entered a desolated park that was near her home. A park that during the day was filled with kids and activities but now was dead and silent. She knew that when she got home, she would have to explain a lot of things. Most of things being painful for her to recount for.
She closed her eyes, letting her guard down on her emotions. Tears flowed down her face as the reality of what all has happened hit her suddenly. All she wanted was to show everyone she could take care of herself. But that desire spiraled out of control, and in the end, turned into something she couldn't stop and needed help with.
She shook her head, hating the fact that she trusted a boy so much. Put so much faith into him, and believe and forgave him, time and time again. He had used her, and she allowed him to use her, thinking that he didn't mean to do it to her.
She couldn't understand, how it got this bad. She didn't understand how it got worse and worse each time.
But she guessed this is what happened, when she went from zero to sixty in her life and failed to see all the warning signs along the way.
Well, there is the prologue for this fiction. I hope that gets you excited and curious about this fiction! Please review, so I know what you guys think! Thanks for reading and please review!
