Thank You Horse, a heartland fanfic

This is just a little note a wrote in honor of all horses out there for giving us someone to love

Dear horse,

Thank you for carrying us on your back, thank you for being by our side in war and battle. Thank you for teaching us skill, balance, and poise. Thank you for giving us someone to talk to when people just don't understand. Thank you for letting us share in the magic of flying without wings, and thank you for making our dreams come true. But most of all horse, thank you for loving us, loving in a way that is unconditional and true. And horse thank you for listening to us.

So everyone next time you go out to the barn, or out on a trail ride, be sure to thank your horse, and maybe then, you find that unconditional love that only a horse can give.
