Assignment for Creative Writting and it had to be 1 1/2 pages, no longer. So sorry for the shortness :3 ENJOY
It was spring the flowers were in bloom. There hasn't been anything more than a light rain in days.
Mello walked into his new California apartment. He threw off his shoes, one ricocheting off the wall. Mello looked to the floor gazing at a trail of unopened letters on the floor.
"What did I tell you?" A voice shouting from the living area, overpowering the loudness of the TV.
"Huh?" Mello stomped over the forgotten bills and stopped behind the couch.
"I got it!" His video game obsessed life partner tapped his foot on the coffee table, leaving grey marks since he forgot to take his shoes off.
"Got what?" Mello leaned over the sofa to see what game he was playing on his PSP. "Matt?"
Matt picked up the remote and turned the volume up on the TV, "Man do I love X-Play!"
"What did you get?" Mello leapt over the sofa, landing beside Matt and snatching the PSP out of his hands.
"What do you think I got?" Matt smiled at Mello, who has gotten a confused expression on his face.
Matt stood up and turned off the TV, "Matt?" Mello reached out to his friend. "What did you get?"
"it's a surprise," Matt winked, " wait here!" Matt walked away from the sofa and down the hall to their room.\
A few minutes later he walked out, carrying a Books A Million bag. His footsteps were loud and the noise caused Mello to jump up. Matt halted at the end of the sofa. Taking a bite of his Meiji chocolate bar, Mello glanced at the bag. "What's in the bag?"
"Victory. . ." Matt's face was serious although on the inside he was holding in his excitement.
"Victory?" Mello leaned closer to Matt. "How can a book bring 'victory'?" He bit off another piece of chocolate.
"When its THIS BOOK!" Matt pulled out a black notebook, on the cover was written 'DEATH NOTE', it was Kira's Death Note.
