This was a story out of boredom. I do not own PJO. Um, that's kind of it.
~KATE!
"NO!" Thalia screamed.
She kicked, but it was no use. Her brother had a tight grip on her, and it didn't seem like he was going to let go any time soon.
"Thalia, calm down," Jason said, "We'll be fine. If we fall-"
"Eeeek!"
"Which we won't," He assured her, "Seriously, Thalia, this is ridiculous. We're children of the sky god. You should not be afraid of heights."
She stopped struggling and glared at him. "And this is going to help me, how?"
"It's...Well, um... Shut up."
"Exactly!" Thalia exclaimed, "You're just being a jerk."
Jason sighed and talked to the man at the gate. Thalia didn't pick up on what was being said, but the next thing she knew, Jason was forcing her into the roller coaster seat. He, unfortunately, was stronger than her. She was faster. She could possibly make a run for it- No, that wouldn't work. Why? Because, the ride was moving, and Thalia was screaming like Bloody Mary was after her.
"Thalia!"
She glanced over at Jason and noticed that they seemed to be going about five miles per hour...and about two feet off the ground. So she told him to shut up.
Okay, now it was getting scary. They were going like, twenty miles per hour. Thirty. Fourty...Oh, no. They were going up!
Thalia screamed and gripped her brother, he winced at the tight hold on his arm. She squeezed her eyes shut. She was so embarressed. There were kids about nine on this ride, and here she was, screaming bloody murder.
"Open your eyes!" She heared Jason yell over the wind.
"No!" Thalia was embarressed at the pitch of her voice.
"Look, Billie Joe Armstrong!"
So, like an idiot, she opened her eyes and looked for her idol. Thalia punched her brother, who was laughing. Then she made the mistake of looking down. They were so high.
But now she couldn't close her eyes. They refused to shut. So you can imagine her delight when the ride stopped. She tumbled over Jason and fell onto the ground.
She heard him laughing and he pulled her off the ground.
"Wasn't that fun?" He asked.
Thalia was shaking like a leaf. "No. No, no, no."
"Then I guess we'll have to try some different ones."
"It was amazing. I loved it."
"I thought so."
"...Wait...Are we done yet? Aren't we supposed to like, have a funny ending, and then fade out?"
"Maybe Kate's being lazy today."
"Oh, shiz muffins! Sorry, guys! I fell asleep...I'm done now."
"Okay. So can we go?"
"No, not until end this fic."
"How long will that take?"
"Right after this. Review this story!"
"...Talking to the sky's a sign of madness."
"We do it all the time, Jason, so I don't know what you're talking about."
"Can I please end the story now?"
"Oh. Yeah, sure."
